He's been worse than useless. 2 penalties so far and almost got a card there.
Hope we don't see him in a Bok jersey again soon. I was quite excited about having him in the mix. How wrong I was.
At least he hasn't mindlessly shouldered anyone in the head (yet...) like he did in the Prem this year.
If the Lions start pulling away then the cheap and dirty shots will start appearing.
Yep, plenty of time for him to revert to full meathead mode.

Etzebeth the best Bok on the park by some distance.

Think Williams was just outside the 22 for that one.

I'm surprised he's not off for an HIA, took two fairly hefty blows to the head during that impressive high ball catch.

Bad pen by Curry, but if Kolisi never lets go of him, is he not always bound to the maul in some way? Looked dodgy as hell either way. Not going to complain about the pen.

It's the unexpected offload. If AWJ had gone down, Itoje supports, by offloading (especially that late, after the pattern has been set up) he disrupts the structure. Worth doing, but it's the risk. Half breaks are easily the most turned over attacking play.

I get all that but there should have been more than Itoje within 5m of AWJ before the offload.

There may have been, or at the very least, aware of the necessity. Once it slowed down, everyone would have been getting ready for the next phase.
