That try is an absolute aberration. Didn't need the angle behind to see his foot was in touch, and the pass to him is a mile forward.

I actually believe it is deliberate. They are preparing the RWC and want to vary from the kick and chase that has been their trade mark for the last 3 years.

If it is a yellow i just don't get the rules. He even tucks his arm, no attempt to wrap. As clear a red as you will even see.

Really hope we beat them.

It wasn't in touch.

The final pass wanted a look I'll grant. Barnes made mistakes for both sides.

Take off the shamrock shades ffs. That was as close to a try as you'll ever see diving for the line.it wasn't the shove you almost always see, and he used both arms.

Moot point - It was a penalty try regardless. No yellow card and Sexton missed the conversion so France got off lightly.

Those passes back inside nearly always look forward and are hardly ever given for some reason.

Moment of calm reflection: worried about our kicking game. France will be quietly delighted to be so close, having scored only one try and down a man for ten mins rather than fifty-something.

Who gets first score of the half to win this methinks.

FM, much as I think Farrell is not a FH, he actually is some margin better than Ntamack at it. If you are going to hoof the ball away all the time, at least Farrell has length on his kick.
I meant more undroppable, regardless of how poor he plays.
Defo that. The Bernol expert panel after last week commented that Jalibert could do what he liked, he was never getting a starting berth.
