Trying to pick a scrap with Skelton is definitely an interesting life choice.

It is a law that you can't pass the ball off the floor, Skinstad. It's just very rarely enforced these days.

Strong finish from La Rochelle. Stormers throwing far too many loose and wayward passes while being smacked backwards by the Rochelais defence.

It is foul play, but how many phases before the try was that? Why aren't we reviewing that in a more timely fashion rather than allowing several phases of play, a try and a conversion to occur?

Stormers steal it at the death. An improbable win.

Great win by the Stormers. LA Rochelle is a champion side.
As good an example as any of the others of what was going on constantly.sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 2:50 pm It is foul play, but how many phases before the try was that? The tackle was made, it totally looked like he targeted the head of the Stomp player.

The ref was not in qualify for his level and let La Rochelle get away with a lot of kak.sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 2:50 pm It is foul play, but how many phases before the try was that? Gelant is so out of form. Loader playing better each game. Look like enjoying the Stormers way of play.sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 2:20 pm What on earth was that from Gelant? Gifting great field position to La Rochelle.
Another young English winger garnering experience abroad that he'll hopefully bring back to England in due time.petej wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 2:19 pmGreat take by loader for that try.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 1:58 pm LA Rochelle look very strong. Long afternoon for the Stormers.

Yep, early signs are that Bordeaux vs. the clock will be the real contest.
I know Lam gave the excuse of having the Premiership schedule to worry about, but it's not like Bristol are going to do much there either. It's just cowardice sending out the seconds to the home of a big French side like this.

If your have Andre Venter's blood in your vaiins you don't worry about Skelton.sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 2:41 pm Trying to pick a scrap with Skelton is definitely an interesting life choice.
My abiding memory of venter was as a cowardly shit and cheap shot merchant.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 3:28 pmIf your have Andre Venter's blood in your vaiins you don't worry about Skelton.sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 2:41 pm Trying to pick a scrap with Skelton is definitely an interesting life choice.

I think you have the wrong Venter. Maybe Corne Krige? Venter was one of the hardest honest Springbok flanker.petej wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 3:34 pmMy abiding memory of venter was as a cowardly shit and cheap shot merchant.OomStruisbaai wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 3:28 pmIf your have Andre Venter's blood in your vaiins you don't worry about Skelton.sockwithaticket wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 2:41 pm Trying to pick a scrap with Skelton is definitely an interesting life choice.

Speaking as an Edinburgh fan who wasn’t really worried when you recruited Johnny Petrie away from us with a big payday, you’re welcome.Jim Lahey wrote: Fri Dec 15, 2023 1:09 pm Dan McFarland doing his best to get the sack from Ulster and a nice Christmas payout with some mind boggling selections, as per usual.
He should have been gone after shitting the bed against Connacht in May, but naturally Ulster gave him a contract extension last season (when we were playing shite) and can't afford to pay him off after we lost 700k last season due another cock up due to Frozen Pitch-gate.
Comfortably the worst run rugby club in Europe.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?

at what stage do we think Sanderson realised he could have gotten something from this game if he hadn't changed 12 players ?

The Scottish flyhalf costing the Bulls an important away win.
I suspect he'll be very pleased.with the result, because our second string stood up to one of the best club teams in the world.fishfoodie wrote: Sat Dec 16, 2023 7:20 pm at what stage do we think Sanderson realised he could have gotten something from this game if he hadn't changed 12 players ?
I very much doubt Europe is out objective this season, but this might be a decent keystone for a couple of seasons hence - our academy continues to produce gems, and we have real depth throughout the squad. I know it's early days and we got him from Wasps, but Asher looks very very special, and if he could just stay fit Raffi could be legendary. Not been this bullish after a defeat in quite a while.
