Always. Particularly so given the last time this match came to Twickenham. That one's going to live long in the nightmares.

*Wasps hat on* No it isn't!

We're so blunt without Robson pulling the strings.

Sleightholme and Freeman have added a bit of zip to the side, good to see them both playing well.

Obviously I've got my bias, but that feels harsh, not necessarily consistent with what we see week in week out.

This is where we'll really miss Robson. He's managed a period like this for us before absolutely brilliantly.

Naiyaravoro vs. our 9 a couple of metres out. Predictable result.

I was about to seethe that the neck grab on Cardall had been ignored right in front of the ref. Thank you, TMO.

Surprisingly tense finish to the game given the first half. Wasps fucked a potentially game winning opportunity.

2 and a half minutes to play, scrum Wasps just inside their own half, 5 point gap.

Squeaky bum time.

Dreadful kick by Umaga at the end returned by an equally bad one from Tuala
Saints just about deserved the win

That ended up closer than I expected after the first half. Umaga continues his shocking run of form. Still, good to know he's next up for England, top work Eddie.

Both teams trying their best to lose, Saints the least retarded. Didn't score a point in the second half, but they didn't need to. Wasps left to rue at least 9 points of kickable pens ignored, twice being held up over the line and throwing a forward pass when Kibirige seemed to have a clear run in.

Raggs has told me that Blackett wants our flyhalves to go for broke with kicks to touch. That instruction needs to be rescinded, it's resulting in an error too often.

Imagine how devastating Goode's weaknesses must be not have joined them in becoming regular internationals.
The consolation of five Premiership winners medals and three European cup winners medals will help.

Imagine placing Ben Youngs on a pedestal just to try and 'win' an argument against a winner like that. That's Eddiesque madness.
Conceding, albeit tacitly, that the above players had flaws while acknowleding that they were able to have long international careers while another flawed player hasn't = placing Youngs on a pedestal now apparently. Good to know.

Touting the domestic medal hauls of players who aren't up to international standard is how the likes of Louis Deacon end up with 30 caps for England. :problem:

Deacon wasn't even first choice for his club for much of his time at Leicester. Martin Johnson would struggle to pick his nose unfortunately.

That's a tactic only when you need to go for broke or don't think the oppos are up to much. Need to believe in your set piece (lineout) game and if you don't, then you need to fix it.

Asset stripped and broken. The best academy in England gone too soon.

Ah well. As long as it makes everyone happy I guess that's what really counts.

Can only agree. If we can't make use of possession 10 - 15 m further away from their line, we've got serious issues.

England hamstrung by the fact that Youngs and Farrell won't (can't?) play more than two phases at a time. Before this match I wasn't sure what kind of player Lawrence is. It's 55 minutes in and I've still no clue.

Exactly. If this is the halfback pairing we might as well stick a couple of flankers in midfield

Eddie out. That was abject and the natural conclusion of his fetish for anti-rugby.

We didn't hit double figures for phases until minute 68. That's shameful.

Once they got ahead Scotland didn't need to do anything other than pin us back because we had no way to move up field ecept kick badly and repeatedly.
