It can take 2 years to spin up a new semiconductor factory, so these kind of supply chain challenges will continue for some time - in the meantime expect prices to go up

I bought a 2060 GFX card in June last year for £299. That card now is £480 is fucking crazy. 3090's are going for £2600, RRP is supposed to be just over a grand.

Yep. I hit 20 years with my employer on September 2nd, qualifies me for either a 10k bonus or a 6 week paid sabbatical. 6 weeks skiing, all work email and messaging turned off. Gives me an additional target for my weight loss/fitness
