Why have Clarke's socks got vertical stripes?
They haven't that's his calf support. Socks are down.

Good sign for Argentina if their second XV is only losing 10-0 against All Blacks at half time after playing badly

The guys should have got more points on the board than that. Might as well tried some long range droppies as a couple of those up and unders.
Another 10 meters forwards and they could have had a crack.
More impatience. It seems to be a hallmark of our teams for the past several years.
We've seen both Mo, BB and Clarke break the line, our forwards are making craters, if not punching big holes, so stick with it.

No and not the same scrum ABs had when they lost either.

Get the impression the cross kicks is to try to keep Puma's defence moving around, instead of bashing their way through middle like last time?

Reality Arg have not looked like scoring last 2 games from phase play (ignoring turnover/interceptions) and so one more score of any kind seals this for the ABs.

What an outstanding forty minutes of rugby by Akira Ioane.
Hasn’t kicked it away once. It’s a low bar for outstanding in this game.

Out of about 6 or 7 of the kicks really on 2 have been on as genuine options though. And those 2 were both miss-kicked. Fine if you're not going anywhere otherwise but the ball in hand was making ground. Should have stuck with it more.

Liking Akira, good runs, took matera out at a ruck when he was looking at a turnover. Apart from the seatbelt tackle he's going well -although so is the rest of the pack

Yeah I think they want the defence to stretch to cover them. Not sure I like it, every cross kick is a gamble and the execution so far has been pretty shit.

I don't think Caleb Clarke gets 30 caps. Not sold on him at all.
He definitely isn't as powerful as Julian or Jonah and he looks a little on the short side imo
I think historically allblack wingers would have scored where he had his arm in touch.
It reminded me of Riekos try for the blues against the lions off the Perofeta pass and his try for AB's against lions in first test. I think a good winger finds the corner there.

He's doing a lot or work taking Arg players off the ball in, around and beyond the ruck. Not all legal but contributing to Arg being nowhere near as effective in turnovers this game.
