Any guesses on when Europe gets the 3rd Wave?

A warm march sets things off?

You really need to read the updates and the responses to that five year old article before posting it as any kind of proof again.

Not cancelled yet. i don;t see them cancelling this till a lot closer to teh time - if there's a vaccine (even if only partially effective) and better treatments, together with some sort of rapid testing available, then it will go ahead. If not they'll only cancel 1-2 months before
The average age of a Lions touring fan (fag packet calculation) is probably 60+. Any of you Euros fancy catching Covid and having to be treated in a Johannesburg hospital?
I suspect your travel insurance will cost as much as the rest of your trip.
Jesus, that is a silly post.

Admittedly, you probably wouldn't want to be treated at Baragwanath or Helen Josepth, but it's unlikely that any rugby fans would end up there, anyway and the private hospitals, where you would be sent are probably at least the equal of any of your NHS centres.

Why would travel insurance be any more expensive in South Africa than anywhere else?

Well of the 100’s of millions infected it telling that the handful that have been reinfected are not at risk.

Of course it's silly. But there's no reason to make Lions fans feel safe or comfortable. This is Serious Business.

I never said travel insurance to SA would be more expensive than anywhere else. I said it will probably be much more expensive than 2017 Lions insurance due to Covid.

The devil is in the detail.......................

When 85% of the viruses found in laboratory tests were rhinoviruses, which are about four times smaller than SARS-CoV2, no conclusion from this article can be applied to COVID-19/SARS-CoV2.

Christ, Bimbo, you really are desperate.

Sure, we have a crime problem, but a huge proportion of crime in this country is inflicted on blacks by fellow blacks. Tourists are unlikely to go to areas where crime is that rampant.

But, you are obviously the expert: I just live here.

Yup, and that is only part of the problem with posting that five year old study which is really not relevant to the current pandemic.

Or why the UK scientists were so sure about masks in April (there’s been no real controlled experiments since).

Another thing no-ones focussing on. If you read the SAGE minutes, they specifically state that the fact we continue to apply overlapping interventions makes it difficult, if not impossible, to asses which may be effective, and which aren’t.

I mean, youtube is normally a den of nutbars, but the sheer weight of anti-Covid safety measures following this news story about Halloween restrictions is staggering.

No comments here, but this includes a second doctor saying trick-or-treating should be 'low risk'. Is it though? Could you not have some superspreaders distributing Covid-covered candies? Parents could quarantine the candy for three days, I guess, but I'm sure some parents would end up dead by their kids' hands if that was attempted.

Halloween trick or treating should be cancelled.

However most people only live for 7-11 months on Earth, so if they miss Halloween 2020 they’ll never get to see another one. Like comets.

If anyone is generating nonsense on here, it's you.

Homer is using figures and data to expose the hypocrisy in Johnson's government.

If you feel that the figures are wrong, then you should demonstrate where they err.

This "you hates us" schtick is weak and unappealing.
