Ahhh but are any of them as good as Dalysockwithaticket wrote: Sun Feb 21, 2021 4:48 pm Jeez, we've a bunch of really exciting young 15s in the Prem. Freeman, Steward, Hodge and Parton.
Also, Hassell Collins is consistently impressive every time I see Irish. Would be interested to see him get a shot with England.
Also consider that Mike Brown has been playing really well recentlyOvals wrote: Sun Feb 21, 2021 4:54 pmAhhh but are any of them as good as Dalysockwithaticket wrote: Sun Feb 21, 2021 4:48 pm Jeez, we've a bunch of really exciting young 15s in the Prem. Freeman, Steward, Hodge and Parton.

How's his tackle bag game?Saint wrote: Sun Feb 21, 2021 7:56 pm Alex Mitchell called up to replace Harry Randall in the England squad. Seems like a waste of time really

That's all he's going to be doing. Shame really, he had a few brain farts yesterday but was also at the heart of most of our good stuff, and has been looking like finding his pre-injury form over the last month.Margin__Walker wrote: Sun Feb 21, 2021 7:57 pmHow's his tackle bag game?Saint wrote: Sun Feb 21, 2021 7:56 pm Alex Mitchell called up to replace Harry Randall in the England squad. Decent enough I guess. Ex-England U20, taken a while to break into the main Bath lineup. Not really seen anything from him to suggest he's international class.Begbie wrote: Sun Feb 21, 2021 5:58 pm What's the story with Josh Bayliss? Good player? He's just been named in the Scotland squad.

Isn't it 90 seconds these days, or is that just for penalties?Saint wrote: Sun Feb 21, 2021 12:53 pm On the Saints supports group on Facebook, someone's found some footage showing Simmons taking a half a sideways step, which you can sort of kind of line up to that footage. If that is the case, then it's fair game, but it'll take BT Sports to line up all the camera work and timestamp it accurately to say for 100% certain.
I think the main reason it's contentious is because it's so rarely seen
EDIT - Ben Kay has tweeted footage show Simmonds taking a half step forwards.
Of further interest is that by the time Simmonds had even got close to moving, he was already well outside the 60 seconds for the kick to take place

Not surprised. Looked a redMargin__Walker wrote: Mon Feb 22, 2021 4:29 pm Bedlow cited for that tip tackle yesterday.
Citing officer not quite as charitable on his/her interpretation of the incident as Dickson and Tempest
Well there's a familiar feeling...You know you’re playing badly when your mum and dad are the only ones texting you saying they love you.”
Would be preferable he did that playing for his club rather than for England and Jones pick a player on form. But hey-ho, his club don't have fixtures and Jones is far too stubbornPaddington Bear wrote: Wed Feb 24, 2021 9:20 amWell there's a familiar feeling...You know you’re playing badly when your mum and dad are the only ones texting you saying they love you.”
Fair play to him tbf, that's remarkably honest and buzzword free. Hopefully he can get back to somewhere near where he was.
Sam Simmonds has more tries this season than Martin has Premiership appearances for TigersMargin__Walker wrote: Thu Feb 25, 2021 11:33 am I'm sure Martin is a cracking prospect. Good chance he'll have a successful test career, but he's probably a bit fortunate to be getting a go this early.
I love that Billy himself said he's playing shite; but Eddie still puts him in the side ...JM2K6 wrote: Thu Feb 25, 2021 11:30 am Eddie's dropped LCD to the bench (George starts) and George "Who?" Martin makes the squad. Wilson back at 6. Sinckler starts. Billy, Youngs, Farrell et al continue.
I am fucking livid about LCD.

Same here. In fact, I'd go further and say I now hope England lose. This Jones-ego shite has just gone on long enough. He's an idiot.
Because he can kick; and he's probably part of the We Love Eddie group within the squad. The two most important factors in selection.Ovals wrote: Thu Feb 25, 2021 2:29 pmKawazaki wrote: Thu Feb 25, 2021 2:05 pmOxbow wrote: Thu Feb 25, 2021 11:54 am Eddie being Eddie, doubling down on his batshit decisions because he knows best. It does end up leaving you feeling like that. But I doubt losing to Wales, Ireland and France, will change things - historically our coaches have just become even more conservative when we are losing - and Eddie is even more stubborn than his predecessors.
It's very depressing. How on earth is Daly still getting picked at FB ? It just defies all logic.
Come off it - what's the point of claiming to be an England supporter if you're happy for us to lose to WalesKawazaki wrote: Thu Feb 25, 2021 2:05 pmOxbow wrote: Thu Feb 25, 2021 11:54 am Eddie being Eddie, doubling down on his batshit decisions because he knows best. The kicking part is usually predicated on him catching the ball first !Woddy wrote: Thu Feb 25, 2021 2:38 pmBecause he can kick; and he's probably part of the We Love Eddie group within the squad. There's how many, actual EQ FB's playing better than him, week in, week out ?, & he's still getting picked.
