Yes the tackled player is supposed to immediately make the ball available. Refs give some leeway but when a player is tackled and rolls like that they ping them.

Just perusing this thread and this caught my eye. We’re just in the process of selling up in Somerset and have just had an offer accepted for a house in Colwyn Bay. Good to know there is fellow Scotland rugby fans up that way now I’m leaving the Somerset counterparts behind

I think that's about right. Although if we beat France my overriding emotion would be frustration given how we closed the game in both losses.

Oh, the England game was a shoeing, no question. We weren’t ruthless enough to make it show on the scoreboard, but I don’t believe I have ever seen a Scotland side dominate a game quite so utterly in the 6N era (save a few times v Italy). We dominated possession, territory and metres gained. England made far more tackles than we did, and our discipline was far superior. We hammered them, we just didn’t finish well enough.

So frustrating. Glasgow were just brainless in the last 20, and particularly in the last 10. They wasted at least 5 minutes of their own time when chasing the game.
