Benign intent is one thing. Circumstantial risk is another.

What's your stance on mask wearing on planes, trains and uber automobiles?

As a sovereign citizen, I should be able to go mask free if I am virus free. Jacinta is violating my God given right.

I think Karen, that you must make your own choice and bear the consequences of that choice. I will be wearing one, whether or not you choose to is up to you bearing in mind the law may mandate the wearing of masks in certain circumstances hence the need for you to take responsibility for your choice as that may apply under the law, whether you believe that law applies to you or not.
Yeah, and we can make seatbelt choices for our kids too. So there!

Give it up mate, it doesn't suit you.

So you're determined to protect Karen from your coronavirus; but you're quite happy for to spray hers about the place, just as long as she's prepared to accept the no doubt severe penalties for not wearing a mask?

I did make mention of that but there is a difference. 80% of Kiwis incarcerated in Australia learned their trade there (that's an educated guess), where-as this monster didn't develop his warped hatred of Muslims in New Zealand. He arrived here with the sole intention of committing this act.
Is that a yes? We'll pay for this fuckwit if you pay for all yours.

Sorry Ted, not giving anything up. We're adults and allowed to have differing opinions, so we will just have to agree to disagree.
I'm not part of the shooting community, I have loads of friends who are. That can no longer partake of their pastime. As I've already said I don't think anyone outside of the military needs an assault rifle, that doesn't preclude people from wanting one.

So, for my part, I'll agree to disagree and leave it at that.

I disagree totally with you bbb because
Nearly 700 firearms were reported stolen from licensed gun owners last year, data released to Newshub under the Official Information Act shows.

But despite more than 1500 firearms being seized by police in raids, only a fraction of recovered guns had been reported stolen.

The vast majority were rifles - 436 in total - followed by shotguns, at 186. Three military-style semi-automatic (MSSA) rifles and three pistols were also reported stolen from people with valid firearms licences.

Hmmm. I see no financial requirement, fair enough.

What are the general eligibility requirements to apply for Australian Citizenship?

To be eligible to apply for Australian citizenship, you must have:

Been an Australian permanent resident for at least 1 year and lived in Australia for at least 9 out of 12 months before you apply
Been lawfully resident in Australia for at least 4 years before you apply
Not been absent from Australia for more than 12 months in the last 4 years before you apply
Good moral character

I know a few Kiwis who've lived in Australia for 20+ years but refuse to get citizenship. They've even flown home to give birth before coming back to raise their kid here.

It got a lot harder to get citizenship around 2000. Couple that with the availability of the SCV and not getting citizenship is no big deal... but it does trigger a lot of you guys. I don’t see the reason for the fuss myself but it’s not for me to judge the deep seated cultural cringe that defines the Australian character so comprehensively that the inferiority reflex kicks in when the neighbours reject your advances.

I’ve had Australian citizenship since 1992... it’s cunt acts like ole mate Green Light Echo and his xenophobic carry on that ensure I’d never call myself an Australian. Like nearly every other Kiwi living in Australia, I just pay my taxes, carry my share and wave at the oi oi oi-ing fucktards. The weather’s alright, though.

Here's Mucaad Ibrahim. Murdered on March 15, 2019.

Image
Mucaad was killed in the most incomprehensible and evil way - shot at point blank range by (the foreign beast). His body was picked up by worshipper Nathan Smith.

"I held a three-year-old boy in my arms, praying that he was still alive," Smith said in his victim impact statement on Tuesday. "He was not. You took him away. He was three."

Life without parole, Good Job!
He is a terrorist, an inhumane and wicked mass killer – a "monster" and "undoubtedly" New Zealand's "worst murderer".

And now Brenton Harrison Tarrant will never be released from prison, spending the rest of his life behind bars without any possibility of parole.

He has today been sentenced to life imprisonment without parole – meaning he will never, ever be freed.

It is the first time in New Zealand history this sentence has been imposed.

On March 15 2019 the 29-year-old Australian stormed two Christchurch mosques during Friday prayer and opened fire on men, women and children worshipping.

As a result of his attack 51 people died and 40 were wounded.

He initially pleaded not guilty to his offending but later changed his mind and admitted 51 charges of murder, 40 counts of attempted murder and one of engaging in a terrorist act laid under the Terrorism Suppression Act 2002.

Sentencing for the mass murderer started on Monday in the High Court at Christchurch before Justice Cameron Mander.

Key points from today's sentencing include:

-The Crown pushed for life without parole for "clearly New Zealand's worst murderer".
-Tarrant did not oppose being locked up for life.
-He claimed in a pre-sentence report that he was not racist or xenophobic.
-He said his political and social views at the time weren't real, saying he felt ostracised and had wanted to damage society.
-But he accepted it was without doubt a terror attack.
-The Crown said it was clearly ideologically driven, saying Tarrant was a dangerous narcissist who warranted a life without parole.

Amicus Curiae argued for life with the possibility of parole on account of his early guilty plea, his apparent "recalibration of his ideology", and how a sentence of life without parole would be inconsistent with the NZ Bill of Rights.

Glad the judge shot those arguments down. Early guilty plea is the strongest defence argument in mitigation but it's simply outweighed by all the greivous aggravating factors which are probably at the highest end of the spectrum in NZ modern history.
