Just not clinical enough. We're creating some opportunities and screwing them up.

I love Josh Bassett, one of our mvps.

He can be. Was immaculate for the second half of last season, been a bit more mixed this one for a variety of reasons. Seems to be coming back into form and is lovely to watch when the team give him a platform.
Cheers. I have to say that the Premiership games I’ve seen this year have all been pretty entertaining. I remember it being mostly turgid crap last time I watched much a couple of years agosockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Apr 17, 2021 12:14 pmHe can be. Sopoaga on, based on his last few appearances, admittedly a while ago, means this game may well be done.
He's not comfortable doing any of the fullback basics and he hates making tackles.

Exeter's lineout vs. Wasps' handling in a battle of the errors atm.

Subs really haven't added anything for Wasps and our handling has deteriorated.
You can't spend as long as we have defending against Chiefs.

The first half was really encouraging, the second half looked like they'd all celebrated the first half a bit too heavily with tequila.
Odogwu needs to be moved to the centres so he gets his hands on the ball more often.

Quins and Worcester tit for tat at the moment. Warriors ahead having kicked both their conversions vs. Quins only managing one.

Competitive opening quarter, but looks like Worcester shot their bolt. Quins comfortably in control and have tries on the board vs. Worcester's two. Could be a long second half for the latter if the momentum of the first continues.

Quins post the half century with a little under ten minutes to play. Not quite as clinical as they might have liked in this half, but they've stopped Worcester from doing anything to the scoreboard (thus far).

Good save from Green there. I like him, never seems to lack for effort and has a bit of talent too.

Consolation score for Worcester. Think the pass to 15 a phase earlier might have been forward, but we're not checking.
Edit - make that scores. Quins flub their kick off receipt and Worcester improbably manage to bag the try BP. Again, final pass looked a bit suspect, but no check.

His defence is really accurate and he's incredibly brave. He'll get bumped sometimes but I've been really impressed with that side of his game.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Apr 17, 2021 5:41 pm Good save from Green there. I like him, never seems to lack for effort and has a bit of talent too.
"A bit of talent" is somewhat underselling what he's like ball in hand though!
One of Quins' biggest problems showing up late in this half: we have no replacement for Smith. Herron is pretty fucking shit.

I didn't want to over-egg as I haven't seen that much of him, but he does seem to score quite pretty frequently and makes a lot of ground when given even a bit of space.JM2K6 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 17, 2021 5:47 pmHis defence is really accurate and he's incredibly brave.
