If he wasn't off to play in the Olympics I'd just hand Toulouse the Cup now.

Quins - Cardiff has gone a bit scrappy and purposeless with the former being 18 points ahead.

A few minutes left for Quins to hit 50 after Baxter posts a try on 76 minutes.
76 minutes is a pretty good shift for a 21 year old prop.

In the final seconds Tyrone Green runs a great support line to hit the 50.

Investec Champions Cup FAQ
How many clubs qualify for the knockout stages?
The top four teams from each pool will progress to the Round of 16, with the top two securing home advantage for their matches.
What are the tiebreak rules?
If two or more clubs in the same pool are equal on match points, their ranking will be determined as follows:
(i) the best aggregate points difference from the pool stage; or
(ii) if equal, the number of tries scored in the pool stage; or
(iii) if equal, the club with the fewest number of players suspended for disciplinary incidents in the pool stage; or
(iv) if still equal, by drawing lots.
How does the seeding work for the knockout stages?
From the Round of 16, teams will be seeded based on their pool position and then pool points. The number 1 ranked club will play the number 16 ranked club, number 2 will face number 15, and so on.

One thing us England fans might not have considered is that Arundell being at Racing, places him under the tutelage of Lancaster and if there's anything that man is good at, it's bringing through young talent.

Refs have been cowards over this ever since they introduced the "level of danger/force" element to the decision making process.

Well, quite. It undermines the credibility of the process when they say 'low level of force' in direct contrast to what everyone watching can see with their own eyes.ASMO wrote: Sun Jan 14, 2024 1:14 pmBarbeary hit him full pace and melted him, not sure there could be much more forcesockwithaticket wrote: Sun Jan 14, 2024 1:12 pmRefs have been cowards over this ever since they introduced the "level of danger/force" element to the decision making process.

Bath have been looking pretty good with the ball.
Cokanasiga is still a useless lump, mind.

Butchered a clear overlap earlier on but showed brilliant gas to stop that breakaway try - made up a lot of ground and then made an excellent one on one tackle.ASMO wrote: Sun Jan 14, 2024 1:51 pmSaved a try there mind you...but yes he is pretty 1 dimensional in attack.sockwithaticket wrote: Sun Jan 14, 2024 1:46 pm Bath have been looking pretty good with the ball.

Great try from Bath. Racing may not make the cut. May join La Rochelle.

Tigers clinging in there with some spirited defence, but La Rochelle have too much class. That was a fantastic couple of minutes of attack. Brilliant continuity.

Even if La Rochelle take their foot off the gas now that they've scored the bonus point try, Leicester just don't have the attacking game required to overhaul this kind of deficit.

LA Rochelle look unstoppable at home. This group is heading for a tight finish.

2 yellows in quick succession for La Rochelle certainly gives Tigers a good chance to try and claw things back on the scoreboard.
Pollard's going to need to kick to touch on the right side of the corner flag, though...

Great bit of ambition that from La Rochelle, but Tigers didn't pressure the mark at all which left a lot of space to exploit.
