People may worry that boshier is a one trick pony. But is one fucktastic big game winning trick.

It was the most dominant performance that I have seen from a NZ no.7 in many, many years. And it's not like he was playing against a powder puff opposing pack.Monkey Magic wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 6:29 am People may worry that boshier is a one trick pony. oh definitely. The lack of a crowd ceded home advantage away from the Shield holders. But that's okay, we'll just have to comfort ourselves in 2020 with our Super Rugby Aotearoa win. It's better for Rugby in NZ if the silverware is shared around.
Yeah, good point. It could get even stranger if covid restrictions are eased next week and Taranaki then gets to defend the Shield in front of pumping home crowds.

Not living in NZ I have no idea what you're talking about. But it's nice to see neutral fans posting fair and balanced post-match commentsblackblackblack wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 6:23 am Isn't lovely when petty shit like barring a player's father from attending the game gets it's deserved riposte.
I actually just posted elsewhere the same thing, the most dominant performance by any 7 I have seen in a long time.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 6:36 amIt was the most dominant performance that I have seen from a NZ no.7 in many, many years. Probably since Heinrich Brüssow against the AB's back in 2009, or George Smith back in the very early 00's. I hope Ian Foster was watching this match closely. Boshier cannot do any more or play any better than he currently is.Dan54 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 6:39 amI actually just posted elsewhere the same thing, the most dominant performance by any 7 I have seen in a long time.Carter's Choice wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 6:36 amIt was the most dominant performance that I have seen from a NZ no.7 in many, many years. Sensitive. I’m sure he’ll enjoy his evening - and I do hope he enjoys a win streak in coming weeks.

Shame to lose the shield, but hard to begrudge Naki too much, that was a great performance. Pocock-esque turnover work from Boshier, as dominant as I've seen in a long time. There's no way Ioane is an All Black but he's not.
I thought Drummond and Grace were very good for Canterbury. Not scoring when we had all those scrums on the line late in the first half was a huge miss. I reckon if we score there and again after half time, we win.

It is hard not to admire the way the filthy cheating cow cockies from the North defended their line.mrbrownstone wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 9:06 am Shame to lose the shield, but hard to begrudge Naki too much, that was a great performance.
