You'll grow to love box-kicks if you give them a chance.

We've had years of Eddie Jones, Warren Gatland, and the Irish ("we're just outside their 22! Let's kick it!) doing their best to stop it being a spectator sport...

Faf was a decent 9 until Sale Sharks learn him the box kick.

Yeah, this thread is testament just how much the Saffer fans don't care. They don't care so, so, so, so much.

It's 11 hours from Heathrow to OR Tambo and less than 500 pounds non-stop, round trip. It will cost you half that for accommodation and entertainment. If that's too rich for you, just do what we poor klingons do and watch it on the telly at home or in the pub. You can still go to Rome, Paris, where ever. Your team will only play one game in SA.
While affordability is not a negligible consideration (it's worth stating that you can easily do a weekend in Paris or Rome for the £500 it would cost to get to South Africa) it's a bit of a red herring. Who gives a shit if accommodation and entertainment are cheap if you're only going to be on the ground for 24 hours (at best) before having to turn around again? Less once you factor in the reason you actually flew out - going to watch the game.

Canada's bloody awesome and it takes a couple of hours less to fly to British Columbia on the far side of the country than it does to any of the South African cities that have been mentioned, but it's still not worth flying out there just for the weekend because after an 18 hour round trip there's just not enough time left to properly take advantage of being there.

To briefly go back to points about money, Mexico or India are places that are cheap once you get there, but, again, they're really fucking far away and it's just not a worthwhile use of time to go there for a weekend.

For a weekend trip, the closer the destination the better.
It's one game. Put in a few days leave and make a week of it, you'll have a blast. If you cant/don't want to/cant afford it/are Scottish just stay home and watch it on the telly.
I must have imagined flying to Paris, Rome and Dublin on a Friday and coming home on the Monday, as well as going on the biannual trip to see friends in Wales.

It's this thing they have that they can't recognise or value what a decent tournament looks like. They shat all over the one decent tournament they had in the Currie Cup and now want to take a big shit all over everyone else's as well.

That was years ago.

You also lost to 3rd place Ireland. That's coming off the back of losing to Australia, twice. And then to apparently shithouse NZ.

What I'm saying is, if NZ's form over the last year or 2 is causing them to "need" SA, it would appear that SA needs NZ just as much.

Nah, for the French the 6N resumes to one game : France / England.
That's kak. The French hate the English with a passion. They don't want to speak their language.

We will respect the Scots, Irish, Welsh & Italians. They grab the opportunity to let us play in the URC.
The English also hate the French with a passion and have no great desire to speak their language either.
The one thing we totally agree on is that we don't want South Africa involved in the 6N.
If France and England don't want it, it will not happen!!!
A bit of La Marseillaise to conclude this topic , @22”
