Will Jordan . Don't listen to the haters son. Ive seen more line breaks in his time on the field than for the last 6 games.
Start him at 13 next time?
It's Fozzy, so yes probably will play him there until out of form, and from the squad.
But it's year over now.

We can complain about the finishing but Argentina were never, ever, ever in that.

Paper over cracks. Need a better opposition to tell all that but if Akira can hold back the dickheadedness he's in for mine.
Forwards certainly worked a lot harder at tackle/ruck time than in earlier matches, so I would take that regardless of the opposition.

All joking aside. Picking form players ( who also happen to be intelligent footballers) is gonna help isn't it.
Rieko, Jordie and Clarke are dropping everything .
Give me Laumape Jordan Havili Fakatava Ennor over those lads.

I’m on the record as saying only 33% of the Barretts are any good.
In retrospect, that estimate is much too high.

Dropping players on form isn’t good practice. Coaches show faith in their players. A player dropped on form has far less chance of regaining it.
Also creates a lot of bullshit chopping and changing and little consistency.

When was he in favour? He has never been a starting all black. Not even a regular bench player.

I thought Beaudy was going to break Howletts record but he hasn't scored since the 1/4 final against Ireland if I recall?
The dual playmaker thing doesnt work. Just put Jordie Jordan or Havili at 15.
Then its Beaudy or Richie at 10 depending on your tastes.

First one was great positioning, great low pick up, and lovely running line with acceleration.
Second one was excellent intercept which was very well handled.
Last one, the break, was simply brilliant foot skills.
But, anyone would have got them. Anyway, you've some weird double down thing going on.

Hard to know what to make of that. 38-0 is a fantastic scoreline, but execution was pretty poor for about 60 minutes. I guess that's test rugby at times, and posession eventually told, but can't help but think we left another 3 tries out there at least.
On the plus side, the scrum was the best it's been all season, and Nepo showed once again that he is the best scrummaging tighthead in NZ. Akira was also pretty good, surprisingly so at lineout time. Will Jordan speaks for himself. An absolute star in the making, and will surely be starting next year with another Super Rugby season behind him. A really special talent.

Will Greenwood saying on sky that AB midfield isn't right.
Says Clarke is just an impact player. Says Jordan should be in the team and that Jordie should be a sub to come on and kick a late penalty.

Jordan has better bench impact than Jordie. We just saw it. You want your penalty kickers on earlier anyway, when the bulk of penalties are scored.

I think RIeko is a better 11 than Clarke. But im not too enamoured with either of them. Rieko scores clarkes effort in the first half ( if he doesnt drop it).

Still rather have Jordie on early to make the long distance penalty an option earlier. Scoreboard pressure. The vast majority of ab penalties come early.

I think the real problem is Beauden. He needs to be benched and Jordie should replace him at 15.

Think bridge is out of the 23 tbh. It’s him or Jordan. Jordie has a point of difference they clearly value.

He missed his long distance rather badly.
Plus, I'd rather we had a decent attack early on myself.
We tend to lose when we get behind and don't hit back to early on in matches.

Beauden hasn’t been consistently good since 2016. There’s a suspicious correlation between All Black matches featuring Scott Barrett and games they have ignominiously lost. And Jordie is slow.
Good Super Rugby players all. I hope they team up at the Blues one day. But there’s no room for all three in a starting AB line up.
