Mistaken identity.

However, they're hardly a centre of excellence are they. More like a care home for England players who lost a lot of test matches.

But won a lot more. And one of the last teams to legally win the league, too

1sts (or near enough) of the league leaders vs. reserves of one of the league's weakest teams. We'll see a few more of these before the season's done, the fixture congestion all but guarantees it.
Another in store tomorrow. Brave of BT to show it pre watershed. Tough 1st run out for Creevy. Certainly not in Kansas any more.

Oof. Certainly has the makings of a, shall we say, character-building fixture.

When did you lot get your hands on Neal? Last I heard of him he was bidding us farewell a few weeks into the season and heading across the pond.

Hell of a senior debut for 19yo Munga against Itoje, especially with another academy lock alongside him.

Picked Neal up post lockdown on a short term contract. Still going back to the States in theory, but I've always liked him and wouldn't mind holding onto him.

Could fire them up, come out with a point to prove.

Yeah, he looked good when he appeared for Wasps. I was a little surprised Dai basically told him ahead of time that there wouldn;t be many opportunities this season. Would be a shame if he was lost to America for good.

Team's for today's game at the Rec

https://waspshubmedia.blob.core.windows ... 84c110.jpg
15. Anthony Watson, 14. Ruaridh McConnochie, 13. Jonathan Joseph, 12. Josh Matavesi, 11. Gabriel Hamer-Webb, 10. Rhys Priestland, 9. Ben Spencer; 1. Beno Obano, 2. Tom Dunn, 3. Will Stuart, 4. Josh McNally, 5. Charlie Ewels (C), 6. Zach Mercer, 7. Sam Underhill, 8. Taulupe Faletau
Replacements

16. Jack Walker, 17. Lewis Boyce, 18. Christian Judge, 19. Elliott Stooke, 20. Miles Reid, 21. Max Green, 22. Max Clark, 23. Tom de Glanville
Two strong line ups should be a good game. The back row battle could be really tasty.

That was a terrible, terrible decision from Wasps compounded by a poor error from Sopoaga.

Young off for an HIA and the restart out on the full. Going well so far...

Willis adds to his turnover tally from a restart after Wasps pens give Bath a more than point a minute tally.

It's a strong Saints side against a second-string Exeter side, so I'm feeling pretty positive. Exeter by 40.

Should be a pen at the restart for that high tackle as he scored.

Furbank was in cracking form last season but has totally gone to shit, along with most of the rest of the side.

25 phases, 10m made.... How long can rugby keep up the facade of growing the game and chasing new audiences when the top level is boring the shit out of folk that love rugby

Dollman's having a hell of an end to his career.
Saint wrote: Fri Sep 04, 2020 7:03 pm Taylor makes Ben Young look dynamic
I think part of the problem in that attack was too many players standing waiting for the ball out in the back line and too few securing it for immediate release, but Taylor certainly wasn't helping.

25 phases and turned over...

If new audiences can't appreciate the patience of the Exeter defence and the well executed turnover to finally snuff the attack, then rugby's probably not for them. Didn't find that boring at all tbh. A little exasperated that Saints couldn't work out a way to speed things up, but eh.

He has his uses, now if only he could be that speedy with his ruck service.

Naiyaravoro is a waste of a shirt at the moment, he's providing nothing going forward, is hopeless in defence and it was his error that led to that try.
