I know I'm biased but what the hell is Dallaglio on about there?! The Bath winger clearly hit Maitland going for the ball which affected everything after.

As much as I'd like to see the home side win I'm glad the ref had the bottle to make that call against the Bath player.

I actually think it was the right call, Muir definately changed direction and pushed Maitland into the player

I'd have restarted with a Bath scrum. Don't think anyone's particularly at fault, Muir's line didn't change appreciably and Maitland wasn't in a position to prevent himself from hitting de Glanville.

I dont think he is that quick in winger terms, but he has a fantastic rugby brain and is very elusive, like a younger Alex Goode.

One silver lining from this is tat Ojomoh looks like he could be the taller second coming of Kyle Eastmond. That's a type of inside centre the English game really needs.

Although he's better than Goode at not passing the ball into touch.

Mate, the 12 playing for Saracens is English.

Edit: he's wearing the 13 shirt.

Not since january 2020. Tompkins also, for his qualities, doesn't have the same distribution game. He's more of a runner.

My error, I thought Lozowski was in the 12 shirt. He's the best English 12 in the league at the moment. Him and Tuilagi outside Smith.

I'm bang up for Loz getting another shot with England, always felt he was discarded far too readily by Eddie. Unfortunately, I can't recall Eddie brining back anyone he's yanked off early in a test match, so he's probably done until the next regime at whcih point he'll be 30.

I might have to find another stream. What is the record defeat margin in the top flight for England? Could be history in the making.

{EDIT} 74-3 Chiefs v Falcons?

London Irish 14 - 6 up against Gloucester at HT. Have been absolutely murdering Gloucester everywhere apart from the scoreboard. With 5 minutes left in the half LI had beaten 18 defenders to Gloucester's 0 and Gloucester had only had 15 carries.

Somehow only 8 points in it after we conceded a couple of soft kickable pens. If we end up losing this one, I'm going to have to take a break.

I think you're making Gloucester sound worse than they are... you've had us at the breakdown all match long. We can't go more than 3/4 phases without giving away a penalty for holding on but set piece, kick chase etc I'd say we've held our own. Sort out support at the breakdown at half time and I'd say we're good to go...

Yeah, probably fair enough. Gloucester maul and scrum has been solid and Meehan's box kicking going well. We're good at finding ways to lose, hence the terror during a game like this, that we really should be further ahead in.

Yeah, I should be at some point. Just trying to figure out logistics etc as will end up being family trip to the big smoke.

The matchday experience is getting the thumbs up from people I know that have been going. Well compared to Reading anyway, which isn't difficult.

The only point of interest now is whether Sarries can keep pace with the clock.

Surely Bath's coaching staff can't survive this on top of their general underwhelming performances the last couple of seasons?
