You'll be putting a few bob on Saracens then?

Depends on the odds. No crowds. Leinster might be a bit underdone.

It wouldn't be a huge shock if Saracens won.
You checked out Leinster's home record in Europe?

Why I mentioned no crowds. This season, there is no normal.

That's beautiful from Gopperth.

Not sure that's how George intended the lineout to go.

Replay makes it look even worse. It's a running clothesline.

At least Atkinson's conscious .

Yeah, I'm not sure what the max ban is, but he's bloody earned it.

20 to send a message.

Wasps have been gritty as fuck this game. Our defensive attitude and appetite has transformed under Blackett.

True, but on paper this should have been very one -sided even allowing for a dip in performance from the home team.

Denied them even a LBP :D

They were, but this was a Wasps 2nd XV, Sarries absolutely dominated the scrum too.

That was dreadful by Farrell.

Wasps player slightly dipped but that is not much of excuse. Saracens top payers all had stinkers today - never seen Itoje so quiet.

No wonder Quins have gone so soft, they're living rent free in your head.

Gustard needs to start threatening players careers at the club if they're going to play like that. Some will never be good enough, others are past it and need to be moved on, and the rest need to learn that 20 minutes of effort is not enough.

All the advantages, no end product.

Looked like normal Quins service.

Just watched the Quins Bath game from yesterday

For a game that had around 70 points scored it was really average. It almost felt like it was rugby by numbers at times.
Took a replacement 9 to inject any real pace into the Quins play and Bath going down to 13 seemed to cause Quins to become the more disjointed of the two teams.

Not sure if it's an effect of trying to cram so many games into the time scale but the quality of the games I have watched hasn't been good.
I am sure there have been some crackers but they must be the exceptions.

It usually takes a few weeks for a season to get going normally, no surprise that we're seeing that again, especially when you add in all the squad rotation effects too.

Still get some crackers though, have to say I'm pleased Wasps have been a part of several of them.

Most teams have a number of games under their belts by now so they really should be up to pace.

I am pleased to see Wasps getting their act together. Watched them a couple of times before the break and they were dreadful at times. Only seen half a game and a few highlights since the restart but the difference is very noticeable

I would be careful of trying to draw too many conclusions about the league in general from watching Quins. They've been largely shite since the restart, and have only a few excuses re: missing players - it's an attitude problem more than anything else.

There's probably been too many mismatches due to Covid but there's been a few good games in there.

So if we assume Farrell is unavailable for the Tests, who would people like to see line up at 12, and who do we think Eddie will pick?

Our options are somewhat limited when it comes to players Eddie knows, and lots of them are really 13s:

Piers Francis
Manu Tuilagi
Ollie Devoto
Fraser Dingwall
Henry Slade
Joe Marchant

how about people outside the squad? Sam James? Tom Hendrickson?
