Mike Williams just steamed into a ruck and grabbed Gopperth by the neck, apparently sparking him out. Not his first red card.

McNally trying to argue there's no other way to clear Gopperth out. Well, jeez, I guess that means you've lost the ruck then doesn't it, Josh and the solution isn't to commit foul play.

Tempest would've helped matters by blowing for the steal before Williams had a chance to act, seemed like Gopperth was over the ball for some time.

Some Bath staffer being removed from the technical area too.

Gopperth wasn't supporting his own body weight, not even close. This is the first problem.

That doesn't exculpate players from committing foul play.

Also goes back to Tempest making a quicker decision at that ruck.

Tom Willis has saved two tries by holding players up over the line. He's been great so far this season.

Finishes 33 - 45 to Bristol. Bristol good for the win.

5 tries a piece. 4 Sheedy pens the difference

Error after error from Saints. Tigers winning most of the collisions. and looking the better organised team.
Saints match review on Monday is not going to be easy viewing
55 26 to Tigers and their biggest away victory at The Gardens

Fairly middling performance from Wasps, but a win's a win and Bath get nothing out of it thanks to some dogged defending. Not sure if they do motm for the non-televised games, but for me it would definitely be Willis. Huge effort on both sides of the ball for the full 80.

Fifita went off with what looked like a bad leg injury which means we're now looking pretty threadbare at lock while Gopperthy being proper sparked out and on the oxygen when he came round means we're down to one senior centre again.

Worcester have handily beaten what looks on paper like a strong Sale team!

I switched off just after Hutchinson got charged down for yet another try. Leicester weren't even that good, Saints made so many stupid errors they didn't have to be. Some strange decisions from the management too, why take Collins off when he wasn't injured or playing poorly and replace him with a 19 year old centre? Boyd came in with a lot of promise but Saints haven't really progressed at all, I won't be unhappy when he leaves.

Back to the Prem Rugby highlights discussion from the other day. Just watched the one for LI v Bristol and they are the worst I've seen. The clip for half the tries seem to start well into the scoring play. Bristol scored one try from deep in their 22 and only the final pass made it onto the highlight reel.

Yeah, my opinion of him has really changed after seeing him in Quins colours with some talent to work with.

I should keep a QuinWhine count.

Did Allen throw that great pass before or after Koch ran in to him?

Be nice to allow the tackler to even attempt to roll away before three Sarries pile on top to pin them in for a penalty.

I didn't say it wasn't a card, I'm just agreeing with CM-K that the TMO's initial assertion is incorrect.

Nowhere near as brutal as the Williams incident. He charged in from considerably further away and wrench Gopperth's neck back.

It was a soft yellow and feasibly could have been pen only but ultimately it was just stupid play and invites the replays
