Think we'll struggle to hold on here with Allen being cheap-shotted out of the game. Some nice tries in among some poor discipline. Kenningham having a cracking game.

In the match timeline, when did Koch run into Allen and when did Allen throw that fantastic 25m pinpoint pass?

Sorry, what? Are you trying to claim that the cheap shot isn't what caused him to fail his HIA?

For the record, he got smashed in the back in the second minute, was down for a long time, missed a simple conversion, shanked a kick off, got shown on TV blinking a lot and feeling his eyes, but did throw a nice pass before going off and failing a test that looks for a brain injury.

Stop being a hysterical fanny. It was nothing. A penalty but just a push in the back.

It was a late shoulder charge into the back of a vulnerable opponent that saw him go down hurt for some time, try to play on, then inevitably go off because the whiplash hurt his brain.

You're a ludicrous person.

It's been at least a couple of seasons.

I think a lot of ex-players don't bother to keep track of the laws etc after they stop playing....

So you can catch a box kick with a foot in touch and just play on?

Two boneheaded penalties from Quins to march themselves back up to their own 22.

Sorry, it is still out, but that action would count as the catcher taking the ball out and so it would be an opposition lineout. As I understand it.

Absolutely. He's a great player at 10 and 12. A better 12 than Farrell and a better defender.

Just another stupid Eddie hubris victim.

Damaging loss, I think, if Allen is out for any length of time. Wouldn't expect us to win any matches with Edwards at ten. There's some rumours that Green has some history there, so that might be an option.

Good contest though.

I'm pleased for him - he had such a difficult first hour against an absolute tyro that it's a bit of redemption for him to catch that pass and score, doubly so with Lewington creating it.

Right, so the Law hasn't changed then.
Well it used to be that the catcher in that situation would be making the kick go out on the full rather than be carrying it out themselves. It's a difference in whose possession it would be, which is a change.

Hell of a steal there and hell of a win. Not entirely sure why the boos rained down at the end there.

Very good game of rugby, this really is a proper derby these days

Quins probably should have taken some of their own penalty opportunities earlier and they provided far too many for Lozowski to knock over. Great kicking display from him.

Crowd was probably pissed off with the Saracens players repeatedly gloating in the faces of Quins players when decisions went their way, it tends to rile.

Edwards isn't much of a goal kicker I think, against the wind I can see why they turned them down, and he did miss the one he tried.

Nah, fuck the whataboutery - Sarries are the number one team for that and dialed it up to eleven today. Billy in particular acted the cunt all day.
