Total capitulation - possibly the worst game of rugby I have watched- credit to the Boks for imposing their game plan.

Nice by Farrell, good line by Faletau but he really needed to offload there.
This one's done.

Lawes has proved that his second half last week was a complete aberration compared to his usual empty shirt performances when selected at 6 in Tests.

Good case to replace all the Lions back 3 next week.
Lions need something different off the bench like a Smith or Russell. Trying plan A but Plan A harder doesn't work.
Hard call on Watson. He was excellent last week and seen f**k all ball this.
He has dropped 3 high balls and threw a possible overlap pass into touch. They are all playing shit but then again I think only Henshaw and Lawes have even close to pass marks.

Kolbe should have had red, Fluff a yellow, that second try was a knock on. Gatland is going to be raging.

That was a terrible kick by Jantjies. Marx saving him from some blushes but a crucial turnover.

Yeah? Still more metres than both his back row colleagues combined, and one fewer tackle
And took a bunch of lineouts too

SA look miles better since Fat went off.
Indeed, but for me the change wasn't Faf that went off, but De Jager coming on, Bok ruck starting to fire and Lions bleeding penalties.
When the Boks get momentum the 9 always looks good.

Think you're just trying to justify a dislike, to be honest. He's done better than most of the Lions pack.

Not at all. He rarely plays the full 80. Whenever we did 6/2 split in the past, it was always Vermeulen and PSdT that stayed on the field.

I dont think a single Lions player has had a decent game.
Its been fucking terrible, Gatland completely got the tactics and selection wrong.
Sentiment has to go out of the window, AWJ has been poor, Mako poor (in the scrum) backrow anonymous and the back 3 fucking dire.
He has to roll the dice for 3rd test, shit or bust.

That’s the game, Gats got this wrong, I imagine the back three cull will happen but that is not the reason the Boks will win this, the Lions trying to play tight doesn’t work.

It does seem like because the lions were so successful with the high kicks in the last 20 minutes last week, they decided that is all they will do this week. They barely tried to run the ball today.

As much as I'd like to see that, that team would be sent out to die. I have seen nothing to suggest that Gatland has coached this tour party to do anything except kick chase.
