The coms here have mentioned how playing in the Super 6 has improved the Scottish players - Super 6 is 6 teams of semi- pros who are on around £3000 per year.

They also mentioned how many of the French side play in the Top 14

It is what it is, but it's not a like for like comparison.

So they are all fully professional then. We don't have one guy who is fully pro.

The gulf in the backs between the two sides is huge

I only saw two of the four, but it could easily have been a lot closer if not for those misses. Very good second half from Scotland.

They're playing like they're still being coached to improve as players, rather than aiming to win the game.

Going for the fifty fifty offloads, trying to execute their skills under pressure.

They'll concede points doing this, but they'll be better players in the long term for it too.
