It's not really something I've ever poked my nose into, but we have a number of specialist rowing courses set up as part of other waterway workings and I think a lot of schools have programs, as there are school competitions running at times. It's huge here in the Waikato but we have the Karapiro world cup course in our back yard. There was a documentary on Linford a couple of days ago, it’s very much worth a watch on the iPlayer. There is a section where he watches back an interview with Saint and Greavsie where he’s trying to explain why he hates women coming up to him and grabbing his penis and how this racist caricature was very upsetting, these two old white men just didn’t get it which made him break down in front of them, this was repeated watching it back with his children, who were also in tears because of it
