I was being sarcastic. Kolbe had a shocker out there tonight. Worst game ever from him in a green jersey.

It's incredible to watch, it's like all the talent and flair has been coached out of them. I would imagine the back three, Murray, Biggar and all the forwards bar Lawes and Itoje must be in the firing line.
That's precisely what has happened and given Gatland's track record, you expected different?
Not even he would be dumb enough to start Farrell over Biggar though.
Smith or Russell. If you are going down, go down in style.

Well done SA. After one of the worst halves of rugby I've ever had the misfortune to watch, that was some good shit in the second half.
Gatland's Lions looked clueless, static, inflexible, and scared of playing rugby.

Yep, heads must roll.
The head that should roll is Gatland’s but of course it won’t, he got that woefully wrong today, you don’t out South Africa South Africa, and in fact their execution allowed them to play the only rugby of the match.
Watch Gats double down now with selection next week.

There is no way New Zealand or Australia will try to beat the Boks next month by playing the way the Lions did.

Did you not enjoy how Quins won the Prem? The way Glasgow play, Toulouse and Racing likewise?
The Kiwis are playing high tempo high skill rugby, France are rediscovering their flair.. there is lots to enjoy imo.
That performance from the Lions was terrible, anti rugby and I’m quite happy they lost because of it, but credit to SA, they were worthy winners

He is there because he was the best winger in the 6N but he is not an all rounder, his strength is with ball in hand, I think I saw him carry the ball once and with about three defenders on him immediately

This in spades! Lions were hopeless tonight and played absolutely no rugby, they got what they deserved. It was always on the cards with the selections Gatland made. Did the Lions actually get the ball beyond Henshaw at any time in the match? Did they even get it to Henshaw? I don't think one player gained a pass mark - perhaps Furlong and Henshaw? Front 5 struggled, back row got gubbed, half backs glacial, centres never used and back 3 never saw any ball in attack and just fielded, badly, high balls all night long. Subs were even worse when they came on but to be fair they were sent on when the team was in retreat and couldn't shore it up.
SA got their tactics and subs spot on, bringing on their stronger front row and De Jaeger to solidify line out was deciding factor. Once they had won the forward battle and win the penalties then they could get further up field and execute kicks into the Lions 22, bring a strong chase and put them under pressure.
Lions did their best work in first test when attacking wider and through multi phase playing stretching the SA defence, why Gatland decided to revert back to his old style Gatlandball is a feckin mystery. It will be interesting to see what he does for final test, I suspect he will just dig in deeper and it won't work.
We also need to stop the football style feigning injury - Biggar did in when there was the first stushie when someone ran into his back and he went down like a sack of tatties only to bounce up when penalty was awarded and Kolbe got YC.. Murray did same in 2nd half after the tackle from De Clerk trying to win a penalty. Disgraceful.

Shit game. Horrendous game plan from the Lions, coming off second best against the tried and tested Boks plan.
More creativity at 10 and speed at 9 needed next week, and a game plan that includes numbers 11-15.

Well done SA. Worthy winners today. The Lions were awful. The only player to get pass marks today was Furlong. Maybe Henshaw and Biggar could scrape through. Everyone else was poor at best.
Not sure what Gatland does for the third Test now. He needs to change the game plan, and then pick the players to execute it, but I suspect he can’t, and we’ll see more or less the same side with a couple of players sacrificed.

Last week I was driving what should have been 6 hours to Cornwall, it turned into 9 hours.
Today it was a 6 hour drive and had the miss-fortune to arrive in time for the game.
What a pile of sh1te. Can’t think of any game in the recent Euro football that was of lower entertainment value. When did the new rule of the number 10 not being allowed to pass come into force. Pains me to say it but please our NZ spiritual guardians need to save us.

Itoje could be in trouble via the citing commissioner for that.
Biggar is prone to the sniper in the stands right enough, that and moaning his face off at refs
Kolbe should have seen red, though, it was his second yellowable offence, he got lucky
