I still maintain that Muir is one of the best wings in the league and whoever signed him should get a bonus. Must be delivering terrific value.

Not sure that final scrum pen should've gone Bath's way, but fair play they've gutsed one out in a low quality game.

BT officially entered Barnes and Harrison territory tonight. "A famous win" FFS, it was two second strings playing like people with bells palsy for most of the match, refereed by the bloke who had to do geography when the proper teacher was poorly.

BT genuinely could not be more partisan tonight, they were cheering Bath on.
Shit performance by Quins, Green needs a proper break. Told you our back row would be a problem - not helped by Foley thinking a tackler being on the floor with the tackled player lying on top of him holding the ball to his chest is a fucking penalty, but I'm not sure anyone is surprised that White/Wallace/Taulani is not a good back row. Losing Lamb and Colier so early on hurt us badly.
BT need to understand that Quins are not "so clinical" - Quins make a bucket load of chances but bomb a load too. Same again today, but didn't have the quality to back it up at the end. Add in some piss-weak tackling - David's a flapper, but I'm surprised by Green - and this peformance is exactly what Quins fans feared after the last month or so.
Would be nice to get some players back, mind. Looks very threadbare in the pack now.

Look on the bright side, Nathan Hughes might be an over-payed, out of form, 120kg peaheart who's been dialling it in for years but at least he's only been exposed to a few sessions of Bath's coaches showing him how to play.
Gosh I wonder who got MoM ?

Oh come on, it happens all the time. Just the same that they blow smoke up the arse of a team that have had a good winning run (like Quins were, or Tigers before them, or Exeter, or Sarries etc).

I know we’re having a desperate year but that’s a bold statement when there’s the likes of London Welsh in years gone by

As much as we all enjoy Bath being shit I don't think any team will ever sink to a lower level of performance than London Welsh the last time they got promoted.

I went to watch Newcastle Gosforth v Quins in the old Courage Div 1 (now the Premiership) sometime in about 1993 or 1994. Gosforth were dire. During the warm-up they spent most of the time in the 22 with the coach saying "get used to this area boys, you're going to be spending a lot of time in here"
Bath are nowhere near that level of crapness

I think it's very marginal to be honest. Given the resources available, Bath are the worst in relation to London Welsh imho.
Maybe this result will be the catalyst to kick on?

Bath would be relegated normally.
I actually thought Spencer looked very good last night, he was the real MoM. His kicking was exceptional, the hang time was ridiculous. Great accurate passing, he's so much better than Youngs.

Well he's better than Youngs so on that rationale I'd answer yes. But then I reckon with a few months conditioning and rack pulls to strengthen my lower back, even I'd be able to get the ball away quicker from rucks than Youngs does so it's all moot really.
