Well given they're only in the 30s now themselves, & we're talking about something that happened 13 years ago, they were pretty young themselves, at the time.Jim Lahey wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 5:35 pm https://m.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/c ... 94943.html

I'm using the spelling from the old MacDiarmada dictionary. Bet you feel foolish now.!

Given that I'm from the wrong side of the tracks to follow the sport (plus I despise the shite O'Neills shirts with the fucked up colour schemes), how big of player was he back in the day?

He went off at the deep end alright. Good to hear that he's still getting his toes wet, fully kitted out in his dryrobeEnergiseR2 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 3:17 pm Mullet left the internet I'm shame at the early signs of my glorious righteousness. He had the inside track with the politicians and had heard rumours that the scam was big and about to be exposed. They tried to hide it for a while longer, Google 'car crashes' and 'covid truthsayers', but the whole edifice was about to come crashing down and he knew it. I see him sometimes now driving his car to the Malahide seashore, opening the door and dipping his toe in the water before speeding off. The shame is so great he has even given up pints

Not a good look.
What's the endgame here? Open the door to Ukranian refugees and expect them all to leave once there is an end to the war? Or is there a labour shortage down south that they will fill?
Either way, I think you need to bring the locals with you on the journey, and not just dump a load of blokes into a rural community without housing or jobs and expect everything to be hunky dory.
