Reds v Force
Cheers ASMO.
. I am going to keep an eye on this game.
The Force will be my new first Aussie team, as I assume they are building their whole game plan around ex-All Black Richard Kahui.
Apologies to my previous first Aussie team, the Reds, coached by ex-All Black, Brad Thorn. You weren't playing well enough to keep my loyalty. I think your coach is a bit shit.
EDIT: Have just seen score. Jury is still out on my first Aussie team.

what was the deal with Jock Campbell's tongue action as he ran it that try?
He looked like Tony Abbott on Crack...

Totally. Why professional teams go for the low percentage play in lineouts at key times continues to bemuse me.FujiKiwi wrote: Fri Jul 17, 2020 10:52 am Exciting game. Plenty of talent coming through in Aussie rugby.
I don't know why the Force didn't go for money ball in the lineouts there at the end. So frustrating to watch.
A long, loopy throw that gives the defensive team all the time in the world to contest it.
Just nuts. Just snap and go to two, quick smart, pretty much all the time. You should win the pill 9 times out of 10.

I strongly disagree.
Sure, a couple of goal kicks could have been better but he was one of the Force's best tonight. Kept them on the front foot with flat attacking ball.
A very good game.

Force also scored a try 5 mins earlier with a great rolling maul! Just dumbJimmy Smallsteps wrote: Fri Jul 17, 2020 11:48 amTotally. Enjoy the brief glimpse of Kahui at centre before he is broken and spends the rest of the season balls deep in WA women*stemoc wrote: Fri Jul 17, 2020 11:54 am hope to see godwin/kahui at centres next week, rache, rollston on wings and mcgregor at 15..
*May be taken not sure.
Just glad it was a competitive game. Nothing worse at the moment than a boring or uncompetitive game for long suffering fans.
Welcome to reality Force. The Chinese CCP just bumped into the Chinese Propaganda Wing
Jonno Lance what a brave little fooker. Puts his body on the line.
JOC had a good game, directed the Reds well.
Good game and glad to see the lineouts improve this week.

'The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing'... man up cupcake!!!
Lance strikes me as very much the type of fly half it will take time for his teammates to get used to playing with. A bit too much ball hitting the floor last night.
Reds were sloppy at times and blew a few key chances when they had the pressure all on the Force.
Force don’t seem far off the pace though, especially considering the circumstances.
Breakdown was often a complete mess also and I’ll admit that I’m enjoying the law interpretations in the NZ comp more with the quicker and cleaner ball.
