Whats the craic with Darge? He going to be the fabled no.8 we've been waiting for?

I thought Darge and Boyle both projected as sevens.

Really just going off that link and a highlights (very very short tbf) video I seen where Darge was in 8 and that saying he plays across the back row.

I think it's one of those 'how do we get both these lads in the same team' kind of situations.

Roger.

Not sure they're both needed if that's the case. Great from an Embra pov but could possibly stifle 1 or both development.

I suppose with the amount of potential internationals coming up they might both get some decent game time.

I have this horrible suspicion we’ll still be looking for this No 8 in another 10 years. It’s become our perennial ‘problem’ position, just like standoff was between Townsend and Russell, and like 12 was, well, between the 80s and Scott/Dunbar/Johnson.

I reckon Ritchie might be away before too long. Deserves to be somewhere he's viewed as number one choice. Mata might go for a payday and Watson is 30 now as well. In two years we could be looking at Crosbie, Bradbury, Boyle and Darge.

Love the look of both Darge and Boyle (from their highlights reel anyway).

Darge is an excellent player having seen him at Melrose.

Hr is strong has a good head and plays with a bit of edge - he will be a senior international

Scott Steele is out of the door at LI after 6 seasons if anyone is after an experience, if unspectacular 9. Former Scottish U20.

Don’t see him at either of the pro teams. Might add some experience to a Super Six side.

Nothing has been confirmed, but I’ll be really surprised if he doesn’t end up in Japan.
