Star in the making. Showed more in 20 minutes than Jordie has in 5 tests. I genuinely think he's the most exciting outside back talent to emerge in NZ rugby since Ben Smith.

No reason to hold him back. Surely Foster can see that he starts with Clarke on the other wing.

Nothing particularly special — apart from pace — about his two tries, but he has that happy knack of being in the right place at the right time to exploit that pace. Like Cullen and Barrett at their best. Brings 'good vibes'.

The problem, as the Crusaders have discovered, is where to fit him in. The obvious slot is on the right wing, but that seems a forlorn hope under the current regime.

Ive never been so confident of a player stepping up. Class is class.

I've felt it about him and Ennor for a while. I don't support Canterbury by the way. I think Havili would never let you down either but some people reckon he hasn't the wheels which is fair enough.

Too early to tell, for mine. He took his chances well last night, but didn't exactly need to sidestep or break any tackles in taking them. Let's see how he handles pressure on defence etc first. We were all singing Clarke's praises after his star turn at Halloween, but he's been only fair to middling since.

But yeah, he looks like he could be one of those rare players with the Midas touch.

I remember his catch in the North vs South game and a crazy touch saver in Super Rugby so it’s not just pace and a Midas touch on his side.

A little more than 20 minutes for the ABs seems like a missed opportunity.

There are two things at play here imo.

Jordan is an outrageous talent. We all know this.

Jordan’s tries and break yesterday we’re not the result of his outrageous talent. You’d expect almost any winger to do the same.

I think some people are confusing the fact that Jordan is a bloody good player (and he is) and therefore any good play he makes could not have been made by players worse than Jordan (which isn’t true).

Unfortunately, because I swore to protect all Barrett’s on the alter of Barrett, I can merely hope for Jordan to replace Clarke on the other wing. He’s probably the best wing in the squad.

I think while Jordan is effective at 14 he will be irresistible at 15.

Everyone would benefit. Poor kicks would be returned with interest.

The line break for Pattys try would become a regular occurrence and have defences on the back foot.

At 14 he might not see much pill in a tight game.

You want teams afraid of their bollox to kick it deep.

He is a scalpel.

Will Jordan's most special skill isn't speed, handling, or strength, its "Johnny on the spot" (or Willy on the spot). He just turns up in the right spot to get the ball for a try way too often.

His best position is 15, and soon enough his form will be so irresistable that there will be no way not to pick him in his best position.

He and Ennor have looked like 50+ test All Blacks since that great 2017 U20s side, and nothing has changed that.
