Re: The Doom/Sludge Metal Thread. All Slow, All Low.
Pelican are an interesting band, up until City of Echoes they were quite heavy, which was my preferred incarnation, with tracks such as: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LarwAMC_lNE Then released City Of Echoes which was more accessible and should have seen them selling out stadiums. After that they ...

Haha, yes in the last two weeks the traffic has properly kicked off. I'm keeping a leaderboard of cars queuing behind bikes, we've had 18 on the Milford road and 23 on the Lymington road. Keeps me entertained.

I'm halfway between you and Bournemouth. Does the weather tend to skirt around the Ageas bowl due to its position?

http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ shows a monstrous thunderstorm currently crossing the channel, should make landfall by 9pm, and a cooler breeze has just picked up  Hopefully, though it might fizzle out to just some rain by the time it gets to the south coast You were quite right, didn't even get ...

Time to bring the thunder.

Re: The official NPR Audiophile thread.
You can turn the bass down in the app. No issue at all. If you are using an app based EQ for your setup then you've lost any 'audiophile' argument before you've started. Can you articulate for us why you think they are audiophile? Do you get a good soundstage, depth & space; accurate pitch &...

Re: N***er goooone!...
We get it, TB - you think the N-bomb is a suitable word for black people and you can’t understand what all the fuss is about. Er. No. Considering my ex is Jamacian, I never would consider using the N word in a derogatory fashion, I find it appalling. I also find this rewriting of history appalling,...

Search engine optimisation is something i will look at a bit further on, want to get the site right, then bells and whistles can be added. Sure - and thanks. I didn't mean to suggest this was a priority or even a necessity. It was just a thought about one possible way to get a bit of visibility v t...

"Forged in fire" is my lockdown guilty pleasure, great show. There's normally a Billy Bob contestant, such as the 19yo who was so clumsy he once shot himself in the knee with his AR15. The obese guys who you know will have a fainting moment due to the heat. A good episode will have a 'cata...
