Actually if he's on the bench behind players like Chamberlain and Cronje....how the mighty have fallen!! Anyone seen Eggman? I suspect he'll be on the bench for the Challenge Cup Final, so he's probably just backup. It would probably be pointless giving him gametime if there aren't any injur...

I forgot half those players were in our squad. It must be hard to sit on the sidelines for so long, then then get thrown into an invitational XV to play a dead rubber game.

Yes, and also a nod towards transformation.

I like the painting. It's always going to attract it's critics, but it's very striking and different and speaks to how the role of the monarchy continues to evolve.

Winner of that game goes into the final qualifier though, with the loser of the South America / Pacific playoff, the 5th place team from Rugby Europe Championship and the 3rd place team from the sudamerica championship. Ah. Fuck it then, what's the point, they won't stand a chance. If they can't be...

Re: RWC 2027 Qualifying

A lot will depend on the location of the play-offs. I'd back them at home to beat the likes of Korea or Hong Kong, but they'd struggle away. Also because most players have full time jobs.

But still an interesting development, and easier than the previous route.

No change for Africa then. It's a shame, but not like anybody beyond Namibia has been knocking on the door.

It's up to the likes of Zimbabwe and Kenya to push Namibia for that spot. Can't see any of the teams surviving a playoff.

I guess I am just being overly pessimistic, but I just have not seen anything consistently from them this year to suggest they have it in them to travel to London and beat Gloucester. I remember a few years ago the lack of quality coaches used to be such an issue. Now they are all over the world and in high demand.
