Re: Not Heineken Cup 23/24

Lewington the only defender not to put his body on the line. 10-0 not a terrible scoreline given the pressure we’ve been under. Handling has been desperate. Game is still on though. We need to play some of the game with the ball and chip away with a couple of pens. See if Bordeaux panic or do someth...

The answer with the flag is that it’s reasonably clear (IMO) that Nike have bought in to the idea that the St George’s Cross is a divisive flag, an embarrassing relic. ‘A change to unite’ or whatever the exact phrase was seems pretty explicit on this. I don’t own an England football shirt and won’t ...

There’s people here and elsewhere who would happily describe themselves as being immune to conspiracy theories and fake news, who jumped at various stories on this one because it suited their politics. You do seem a bit exercised about something. Maybe when we win more we’ll be beyond celebrating one off wins. The team don’t expect to beat anyone in the 6N or big three from the SH. Which is why I cannot fathom how Townsend keeps his job. Scotland have a limited window with a very talented side and he’s wasting it. Because, although we haven...

Looks an eminently sensible ruling The defendants were prohibited from using terms such as “climate change” in their defence and so took to using the “consent” defence to give context to their actions. Some days are like that. But it's much harder to get a team to click in attack when you've spent a year coaching them the opposite (and have practically no relevant coaching expertise anyway) but still expect them to attack at full pace. It’s a good post and yes clearly there was something significant that changed after the Scotland loss. Last game of the 6N, 8 week camp, Borthwick was always going to pick Daly who’s been in camp the whole time and knows the system. Likely the last time we’ll see Tuilagi in an England shirt. Not been the force he was but my god he’s given us some good memories and has poured everything into the shirt.
