Genuinely don’t know how somebody as eminently likeable as you couldn’t stay in work, when some of those who could start an argument in an empty room and never get to shag nurses, have jobs.

This is how it starts, I explain why, then I get 50 right wing idiots stalking me and calling me a liar, because I explained myself, and that would require they not have self serving contempt for the unemployed for four minutes.. then (after six years) of shite, I get fed up, present evidence that I am not lying, even have people attest that I am not lying, and I get smeared and lied about more and more and more, because no fucking way is anyone going to apologise... and then I get banned.Yeeb wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 1:52 pmGenuinely don’t know how somebody as eminently likeable as you couldn’t stay in work, when some of those who could start an argument in an empty room and never get to shag nurses, have jobs.
Then the Tories get in and roll out policies that are designed to kill me.
It is all very lovely.
Sure Jack Munroe owns Katie Hopkins house for far less.
Anyway I am a carer now. Haven't been unemployed for some time.
I like to think I was tempering him and making him harder and tougher than any bit of steel he made in the six and a half weeks he did actually work before Thatcher got her dibs in.
I ground his gears plenty for the not working thing, but just couldn’t fathom why he was thought to be a liar, and if he is then so what , I got fooled by a random on the internet - big wows.
Genuinely didn’t know he got banned, or where he thinks these 50 right wingers were to be found on Planet Woke-by
Fwiw I’m glad he’s working now and a carer

Four and a half years.
Whilst you was in short trousers studying how to be a fantastic yeeb, making your eyes bulge and weakening your wrists, by putting them in hot water overnight... I was already a steel making god my friend, up on pre treatment balancing over huge tanks of acid, on hot pipes thinking fucking'ell, 16, how great am I? Definately better than that yeeb bloke.

I actually know a few ypung steelworkers who's hands and arms look like that, having tried to clean a bed of rollers for 0.8 mm thick steel, whilst it is still in use. They get a rag, take the gaurd off,,thinking they can easily wipe a bit of shite away (that is denting the steel as it is passing through the bed of rollers) and the rag goes in and then their hands and arm. The screams are quite horrific.
Sorry I try to forget about my times in british steel.
So, Refry, you seem the real deal. I only really caught your last year or so on PR, and this wasn’t my username then. Just wanted to say I’m glad you are here.Line6 HXFX wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 3:38 pm

Just got one of these, loved my very long serving old amp but needed digital inputs as a two-in, one out external cheap DAC wasn't enough for modern needs.

Just had an offer accepted on a pair of these. One will go into my machine, replacing the rx580 that's in there, and the other will hopefully sell for more than half of what I just paid. Sell the rx 580 as well.
It's a big old upgrade for my 1440p monitor, even if it's 2nd, and maybe soon 3rd gen tech. And if I can get a decent price for both cards I'm selling, (optimistic prices), I may not have even had to pay for it...

While I could afford that sort of set up ( + CD player ) no way could I justify that sort of outlay. The listening room acoustics would probably need sorting out too!

I was a quality controller and worked in the labs and a cut up line for about 4.5 years.
The whole plant shut about 5 years ago.

Seems a rather specific Airbus joystick.
Won't be good for much else. No good for helicopters, spaceships, warbirds, combat sims.
Just good for rotating and landing an Airbus.
Rotate, gear up, flaps up, autopilot on...and put joystick back in box.
The throttle quadrant they are about to release looks kinda interesting though.

Just bought another Amazon Echo Studio Speaker.
They were on offer, so thought I would jump in.
I always wanted two, making my home theatre experience doubly awesome.
Not sure I need the Amazon subwoofer, as I heard when you get the three it is serious bass overkill.
