Sharks look very dangerous in the first half. If they can cut out stupid mistakes they can take this easily

Grobbies is n yster
I think that is why he is unlikely to feature in Rassie’s Bok plans anytime soon.
The guy just has a pea-sized heart. He’s proven it over and over again. Talented no doubt, but he just doesn’t have the fight in him when the chips are down.

This show the Stormers effort of last week
Van Der Mescht drops another pass right on the line, ruining 10mins of sustained pressure and a 1-man advantage due to Van Staden’s binning.
Still not seeing the hype guys. The big lump seems way out of his depth at this level.

Shocking discipline by the Bulls in the last quarter. Down to 13 men now. Too many penalties in the red zone. Worrying that it’s players like Coetzee and Nyakane and Van Staden. Can’t afford that against the Lions.
Luckily Van Der Mescht has been useless in the lineouts and has lost 2 attacking throws for the Sharks, keeping the Bulls lead in tact.

Haha. Poor Sards, all the players he’s been wanking about all tournament let him down during the most important match.
Eggman and his kiss of death strikes again.
Worried about Kolisi, Am and Fassi. None of them looked particularly sharp out there today. Hopefully Rassie and Nienaber can get some more out of them in the Bok setup.

He is like Will Skelton with less skill. Selected for his size.

Must be the first time a team playing in a final but end up 3rd.
Been saying that from the first match I saw him in Sharks jersey, but the Sharks fans kept hyping him as a Bok bolter.
Classic case of a freakishly sized high-school player looking a better player than he actually is at that level. Completely one-dimensional because he’s always been able to rely on his bulk, but at this level it doesn’t give him enough of an advantage.
Kid needs to work on his conditioning as well. He looked completely gassed towards the end. Carrying way too much weight.
Anyway, best possible result for SA.
Sharks players can get cottonwooled now and join the Bok camp. Bulls can go to Italy and give Marcel Coetzee another match so Rassie can call him up.
Biggest risk is just Morne Steyn. Will be watching with gritted teeth hoping he comes back on unscathed.

Boks are mothballed. Steyn won't be going.Blake wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 6:21 pm Anyway, best possible result for SA.

Wasn’t aware of that, but that’s excellent news for the rest of us.sorCrer wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 6:22 pmBoks are mothballed. Steyn won't be going.Blake wrote: ↑Sat Jun 12, 2021 6:21 pm Anyway, best possible result for SA.

Hopefully the replacements are up to the task. Really want them to do well against Benetton. It’s crucial for us to put down a marker against the NH sides.
