Which game is he doing?

He's already bottled one red this season, producing yellow after perfectly describing the criteria for the other colour.

That was a Saints game I think. He's fucking useless.

It was a fucking disgraceful decision. The way he talked it down should see him being seriously talked to.

Anyway, pleased with that half. Let's see if we can do the necessary in the second.

Rowlands crashes through a gap and both teams at the Ricoh on a TBP now. Tigers still ahead by 3 with the final quarter coming into view.

Since the red Dickson is reffing one side. He's a fucking embarrassment.

Game over. Tigers with a 10 point gap and 7 minutes to go.

Too many handling errors when we've been in good positions.

Great game ruined by an utterly incompetant and shit ref

Quins with a very Quins thumping of Newcastle. Ridley was absurd, ignored every high tackle, and had no idea how to handle the scrums. Apart from that, Radwan scored a worldy, Kenningham was hugely impressive again, and the usual suspects for Quins had a great time.

We'll lose handily to Bristol but we might scare them a bit with ball in hand.

This is a disaster for us. Still, nice win for the racist anti-vaxxers.

Exeter will win handily next week i think, Sale lost some key players today and the backups are a significant step down in quality.

I think losing AJ will do for us, Akker can be replaced. Equally they should be at least two players down from their first team and we might have an unbiased ref who doesn't bottle it when he has to make a big decision.

Still, live in hope and all thatm

When he refs Tigers you can feel the cringe from miles away. He’s a poor ref and his failings are magnified by his apparent inability to listen.

Hoping Radwan gets a go over the summer. Been in great form, and that try against Quins was a belter.

Reminds me of Jonny May, without the need to coach out the sideways running first...

His main problem is that he referees it as a player and not as a referee. He colours his decisions by considering intent as opposed to just making a decision based on what is in front of him. Additionally as an ex pro player, he has the arrogance to think he knows better than someone who was not therefore he wont take advice like yesterday. He simply is not equipped to officiate at this level.

Think Quins can match Bristol try for try in attack. It will the defence that will evetually cost them.

Ealing getting crucified at home in the first playoff leg. 0-27 at halftime and Saracens haven't hit their straps yet.

Good to see Richard Wigglesworth at pitchside in Ealing supporting his old Sarries teammates. I wonder if he's being groomed to come back as a coach?

Isn't wiggy doing some coaching at tigers? There were rumours he was going to come to us along with Sanderson, but obviously that didn't happen. I know that he's very highly thought of, and was apparently central to sorting out Vunipola when he made then daft comments in support of Folau.

I don't know why more scrumhalves don't go on to become top coaches. The French have had a few but I can't think of too many from England (Richard Hill is stuck in Rouen ironically).

I don't think the Saracens Lions will play next week but I still reckon Saracens will easily reach 100 aggregate points without them though. Been a brutal lesson for Ealing.

Not sure a single Ealing player would even make the Sarries 2nd XV

Thought the Ealing fullback was their best player. He'd be well behind Sarries fullback options. And they get Malins back next year.

Sarries looked x2 leagues above Ealing- however they didn’t seem great...like they barely got out of first gear.

Just seen that Jack Adams has died. Came through at Gloucester and played for England 7s. Only in his 30s.

Kay no longer a board member at Tigers and Mike Ford no longer serving on the coaching staff.

The latter's not much of a surprise, no one seems to like Ford, but Kay going is and the presser on Tigers' site doesn't so much as hint at a reason.

Fuck. They'd only just made the public announcment about it. As that was centred around drumming up funds for his family they must have known the end was very near.

No age at all.

I hope Kay is infuriated by this and that his commentary on future tigers games is dripping with bitterness, it'll be a great laugh

I do hope so, he and Healy were awful at times at the weekend.

Tom Homer's retired aged 31. He was going to play in France but decided to pack it in.

No more being able to say Irish have a couple of Homers playing for them when the ref is acting all special.

Definitely a career that burned brightest at the start. Playing regular Prem rugby at 18 and winning the golden boot at 21/22. Was on a pretty decent upward trajectory before he started having knee issues and stopped the goal kicking as a result soon after. Easy to forget what a great boot he had.

Had a decent renaissance at Bath, but he seems like his heart (and body) wasn't really in heading over to France and carrying on.

Obligatory backflip vid
