not strange at all......in his current form we would be in very serious trouble if he started.....you know that , I know that....Rassie knows that

Ditto. Akhi isn't even a credible Irish intl. FFS.
As an England fan I am in shock to see him dropped after a poor performance.Hal Jordan wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 12:37 pm Is this the first time Farrell has been dropped as opposed to rested?
He normally gets made the starting 10.
Pity it never happened this week.tc27 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 1:48 pmAs an England fan I am in shock to see him dropped after a poor performance.Hal Jordan wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 12:37 pm Is this the first time Farrell has been dropped as opposed to rested?

Yep. Mostert must feel a bit a prat now!
Lions coach Warren Gatland was sufficiently confident Sinckler would be cleared that he included the Bristol forward among his replacements for the third Test when he named the matchday 23 on Tuesday.
The England tighthead prop had been cited on Sunday after an ill-tempered second Test amid allegations that he bit Springboks lock Franco Mostert midway through the second half.
A panel consisting of three Australians, Adam Casselden and former internationals David Croft and John Langford, dismissed the citing for an act of foul play.
They reached the decision after hearing evidence from Sinckler, Mostert and the second Test match officials, led by New Zealand referee Ben O'Keeffe.

I hope Rassie has an unlimited data plan on his phone. He’s going to need it after this week.
I think there may have been a bit of a blind eye turned to try and calm some of the waters. Could easily have banned Faf, Kolbe, DVdM, Itoje and frankly if you hadn't done all four of them there would have been more screaming and wailing in the media.
And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?
Why would he feel like a prat. He was clearly bitten. There just obviously isn't video footage.SaintK wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 2:30 pmYep. .....and you know this how? If he had been there would have been photographic evidence of the bite marks on Mostert's arm presented to the disciplinary panel, as there usually is with these instances.. Unless of course he was just making it up!sorCrer wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 2:54 pmWhy would he feel like a prat. He was clearly bitten. Suppose we have to play running rugby with Reinach in 9. He is very poor with box kick. The backline will also have less space with his slow service. Would have been much happier with van Staden starting.
It might be raining. Lions already favorates, that will fit them even more.

Reinach will box kick the shit out of the ball, as instructed. Trust he can do that. Other than that, he has been in top form lately. Looking forward to seeing him start.OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 4:21 pm Suppose we have to play running rugby with Reinach in 9. He is very poor with box kick. In place of who should van Staden have started?
Why are the Lions favorites?
And my weather report says sunny weather the whole week until sunday?!
There is a lot of disbelief on fb regarding Herschel not starting.....how can he be on the bench when he has been playing every match till now.boere wors wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 4:40 pmReinach will box kick the shit out of the ball, as instructed. Lions will surprise us. New players and no worries about Rassie videos.
Never know with CT weather.

Oom het nou weer die verkeerde week beet
IIRC, Reinach's box kicks are rubbish. All he can do is run very fast on two quite short legs.boere wors wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 4:40 pmReinach will box kick the shit out of the ball, as instructed. thats good!
He has the experience to pass to the right areas, box kick when necessary and holds the record for the most tries scored by a scrumhalf in a match and that's not including his Northern accolades. I feel a lot more comfortable with him there. Herschel shuffles to forwards all day. It's like he is afraid to pass wider. You are not going to get the ball to the wings like thatsorCrer wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 5:33 pmIIRC, Reinach's box kicks are rubbish. Just a handful of games with Pollard injured for so long I guess
