He claims Starmer is trying to prejudge the police inquiry. And he criticises Starmer for not prosecuting Jimmy Savile when he was DPP.

Calling it correctly mind. That followed Theresa May sticking a couple of sharp digs between the lying cunt's ribs
Blackford ends his response saying Johnson has misled the house.

The Speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, asks him to withdraw the charge. MPs are not allowed to accuse each other of lying.

Blackford repeats his charge. He says Johnson has “lied and misled” the house.

Hoyle asks him again to withdraw. Blackford says the PM may have inadvertently misled the house.

Johnson responds, saying Blackford is wrong.

Hoyle asks Blackford to clarify that he did withdraw the claim. This time Blackford is clear that he is not withdrawing. Hoyle says he must suspend Blackford, but Blackford is leaving anyway.

Someone really should ask the speaker about all the times Johnson has "misled" the house and not corrected the record. Including multiple times today.

It really is a farcical system that a politician can stand there and lie through their fucking teeth and not be called on it in anything other than the limpest terms.

Also, somebody get a photo of that fat cunt with Jimmy Saville out there quick. Given how tight the old pervert was with the Tory hierarchy there must be one somewhere.

He's refusing to commit to release the unredacted Gray report.

He'll be forced to release it won't he? Not sure what the game is other than buying another day.

Repeatedly refusing to confirm if he will publish the full report. Says he will make the decision about what is published. You have to imagine that support from his backbenchers is leaking away quickly. At least from those with any scrap of decency. At least you have to hope.

WOW he really doesn't want to answer the questions about the party of the 13th. Hard not to conclude that even he thinks a lie of denial would be going too far with the criminal investigation ongoing and that he's just trying to delay in the hope it goes away

Hmm, Is this true...
Breaking: Scotland Yard just said they've been handed more than **300** photographs as part of their partygate probe. Wow.

Fucking hell that was awful..surely we must hit the 54 letters following that.

I loved the absolute killer line from Theresa May.

Really has been an exercise in the entire Tory party revealing themselves to be the slimy scum that they are.

Never enjoyed it as a talking point but if you still support the Tories at this point you are a cowardly pathetic moron and there’s frankly nothing else to be sad. All are simply sad, servile excused of human beings passing as really people.

Complete scum top to bottom.

He said what needs to be repeatedly said as we have no way apparently to censure a PM who lies whether inadvertently or more likely not and force them to retract them subsequently

The, "Update", was about as damning as it could be, under the circumstances; so you'd hope this is the beginning of the end.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when the cunt gets grilled by the backbenchers later; they don't have to be so servile then; & they can see now that he lied to them outside the chamber; as well as to the Public inside it.

There was a delicious moment earlier when a Tory lickspittle decried why the House was wasting time on this when there were more important issues to discuss - the Speaker then had to gently remind her that the PM himself called to address the Commons and for this debate on this issue...

Only catching some of the coverage.

But this speaker is such a limp dick. Boris either lies or deflects: he is not answering a single question properly. Yet he doesn't seem to be called up on it.

Not sure what the best political long game is, but right now it must be clear that this man can not be the prime minister of this country.

Don't think there is a political long game. Does any Tory really want to clear up after the Boris shit show? Could we limp on with a zombie government for a while.

I'm sure he's hoping the news cycle will move on whilst he's on his trip to have bunga bunga parties with Eastern European sex slaves.

I mean, his trip to show the UK's global standing in his leadership over the Ukraine crisis.

You see Boris has missed a call on the biggest foreign policy issue of the year, then see a BBC headline of “U.K. threatens Russia with tougher sanctions” with a photo of Truss grinning like a demented church warden, and wonder how we got here

The Met Police said today their investigation would not take more than a year, but did not give an exact timeframe for when it would wrap up.
Police investigation 'won't take longer than a year'
More lines now from the Met Police commander leading its investigation into parties, which Boris Johnson repeatedly urged MPs to wait for when facing tough criticism in the Commons earlier.

The Met has been handed more than 300 photos, Commander Catherine Roper told the media.

She also said:

Her team would start contacting people soon to ask them questions and expected that people would "tell the truth"
The investigation will not last "more than a year" and she wants to fast-track it
The police asked Sue Gray to hold back information on events they are looking into because it would otherwise make it harder to interview people and have them provide "their account from their own memory"
Police officers on duty at Downing Street could be questioned if appropriate
