Is it too soon to be suggesting Liam Williams is on the way down? Not quite Lee Byrne yet.

HIA for Sexton. If he's holding his head we have to be careful.

Doesn’t necessarily mean there was any contact.I like neeps wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 3:31 pm HIA for Sexton. If he's holding his head we have to be careful.
That's his point to be fair.ScarfaceClaw wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 3:33 pmDoesn’t necessarily mean there was any contact.I like neeps wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 3:31 pm HIA for Sexton. If he's holding his head we have to be careful.

Finally Wales being crap is translated to the six nations. Rough few years coming up.
Having to have a hia would discourage play acting.ScarfaceClaw wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 3:33 pmDoesn’t necessarily mean there was any contact.I like neeps wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 3:31 pm HIA for Sexton. If he's holding his head we have to be careful.

Not too soon in the slightest. He's been off his best for ages, he keeps picking up injuries and then being rushed back for international duty and it's doing him no favours.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 3:29 pm Is it too soon to be suggesting Liam Williams is on the way down? I hope the various coaching staffs from other nations have a chat with refs about this...Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 3:35 pmIf you are Ireland, it's an admired choke tackle. If it's anyone else, it's a pen against for too high. We clear now?
It is noticeable how frequently they end up manipulating a played by his head/neck which is why I asked. Peyper will start giving Wales penalties now.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 3:35 pmIf you are Ireland, it's an admired choke tackle. If it's anyone else, it's a pen against for too high. The reason they do it is to prevent the ball carrier trying to drop his knee (which, BTW, pisses me off: you should not be rewarded there for trying to go off your feet) but it's totally illegal.petej wrote: ↑Sat Feb 05, 2022 3:38 pmIt is noticeable how frequently they end up manipulating a played by his head/neck which is why I asked. Peyper handed the Ireland reffing baton from Owens I see.
