It is funny but not really sure if this hurts them or not.
The blond cunt will now take a giant shit on the Ministerial Code, & his MPs will all tell him how right he is, because the rules don't apply to Tories.

Committing a criminal offence is no longer a reason to resign.

He’s lied to Parliament, that’s going to hurt.
Not with the war in Ukraine ongoing. He'll survive this too. And our unwritten constitution erodes further.

I suspect you are right and they will try and brazen this one out. The Tories are shitting themselves more about what will come out of all the dodgy PPE contracts, dodgy TT&T deals, Brexit fiasco, etc all of which are an existential risk to the Tory Party and many ministers. They will do anything to avoid all this coming out and will dig deeper and deeper in order to protect their dosh. It will take time for them to find an exit strategy for themselves, although Rushi has his tickets to US or India in his top pocket already. There is an almighty stramash coming up, pick a side and roll the sleeves up, it is going to get very very messy indeed! The whole of the UK unwritten constitution and political governance is now at stake and these crooked charlatans won't hesitate to trash it to save their own skins.

The fact that there’s a debate about whether or not he will resign, after he broke the laws his own government set and lied to parliament about it, shows just how far this bunch of shitsticks has dragged the rest of us down.

Quite a few of the recent actions of the parliamentary Tory party aren't particularly tolerable to blue rinse Tories but they just brazen it out anyway.

I assume that these fines are for the surprise Birthday Party that Princess Nut nut threw for the bumblecunt ?

And that mental picture of silly hats & cakes neatly juxtaposes with the actual picture of the Queen sitting alone at her husbands funeral.

Sir Roger Gale, who was one of the first Conservative MPs to publicly call for Boris Johnson to resign over Partygate earlier this year, has said that he does not think the PM should go now, because of the Ukraine crisis, the Telegraph reports. Gale said:

My position remains that the fact that the prime minister has effectively misled the House of Commons is a very serious issue indeed, but we are in the middle of an international crisis and I am not prepared to give Vladimir Putin the comfort of thinking that we are about to unseat the prime minister of the United Kingdom and destabilise the coalition against Putin.

Peston's view
For the Prime Minister and Chancellor to be fined while parliament is in recess and cannot be held to account by MPs is extraordinary. The Met Police are literally a law unto themselves

I think it's a difference between whether we think he should resign (likely all yes) and if he will resign. Not sure they've dragged us down - just nothing we can do really.

People vote tory because they want a tax cut. They honestly don't give two shits about anything else. The state of the country, the NHS the criminaks they put in charge to create the laws.

I remember (you probably do too) during austerity when people were dying..and one said "I hear about all these people sufferring, all this human misery..and foodbanks, constantly hearing about a lot of misery, it is getting tiresome etc..so where is my taxcut".

No " isn't it f'king awful"...oh no.
Just..
Where is my taxcut?

Having said that, I don’t think that at any time [Johnson] thought that he was breaking the law. I think that at the time he thought, just like many teachers and nurses who after a very, very long shift would tend to go back to the staff room and have a quiet drink - which is more or less what he has done - but I don’t think he thought he was breaking the law. But of course that doesn’t make any sort of excuse.

Staff drinking alcohol is banned on most if not all hospital and school sites here in Scotland. Caught drinking at work is an instant dismissal offence. Fabricant is a piece of shit for even suggesting this. I have mates who work in NHS and everyone of them has been working their butts off and going home absolutely knackered after every shift, the suggestion they 'partied' after work in the staff room is just codswallop and deeply, deeply offensive. Another fecker who should resign! These Tories just make me spew!

I'm getting really cross with the rhetoric and excuses.

First there were no parties or gatherings, then those in power weren't aware of parties, then they weren't aware that they attended parties. And then they'd await the Sue Gray report, and then we'd have to wait for the police investigation.

And now police have confirmed that parties at 10 Downing Street were attended by the PM and chancellor, these arrogant Tories have the nerve to tell us that the 'PM is the right person for the job', 'the PM delivered the election victory 3 years ago', 'the PM is needed to save the Ukrainian fight against Putin', 'the PM delivered Brexit', and 'the PM and chancellor saved us through the pandemic'.

Utter bollocks.
You made a law, and then you broke it. Brexit is still a mess and delivering far fewer benefits than issues, as any rational person could have predicted. The UK has one of the highest death tolls per capita in the western world from the Covid pandemic, which was badly handled - politicians profited from the biggest health crisis in several generations.
The economy is in a real mess, and whereas many other European nations have made significant efforts to support the population, the UK chancellor has increased taxes.

And guess what: as more people struggle to pay their rent and more people depend on foodbanks and charity, fewer people will be able to afford to do work to their house, visits to restaurants and theatres or holidays and days out. So the economy only gets worse, and costs go up further.

They're well-educated people, who put themselves up for elected office, and they are treating it like their personal ego-trip to build on their early retirement and collection of 2nd homes - they don't give a shit about doing the best for the country and the population.
They just cover each other's arses, cause they all have dirt on each other and a mutual intention to profit wildly from their egocentric pursuit of 'power'.

History will judge them harshly, but we really shouldn't be waiting for that - we need to stop this chain of neglectful and egotistical government.

Rant over.
Over the hills and far away........

"Boris" will brazen it out as usual. It's just his thing.

Sunak (amusingly autocorrected to " Snake") will fuck off and return as the face of some bunch of American cunts buying up the best bits if the NHS at a knock down price.

And you kicked Chamberlain out of office, with the Nazis in Belgium, & the Netherlands, & after the disastrous adventure in Norway.

Which makes the equivalence of this situation, & that; as offensive as that of anyone drawing one between Brexit, & Ukraine's fight to defend itself against a murderous invader.
