Why, players are not seemingly telling family members about coach. If Rangi or Razor had come out and said I have been offered job, I would have no problem, as you know it is something that can be spoken about, but what I say IF someone from family has leaked it they shouldn't of been told. Why, players are not seemingly telling family members about coach. If Rangi or Razor had come out and said I have been offered job, I would have no problem, as you know it is something that can be spoken about, but what I say IF someone from family has leaked it they shouldn't of been told. I have no problem with players talking to family members about the coach, as that is a private conversation and holds no possibility of any negative consequences for the player, unless of course that family member leaks the content, in which case they are scum.

My issue is now and always has been players being asked to comment in the media, which is inherently meaningless as negative comments on the current coach is very likely to have direct consequences for the player.

Foster says he been working with Schmidt behind scenes since he took over job, he is quite good mates with him. And he went down the Hansen road when he got Smith back as defence coach after 2011, he got Schmidt's wife to talk him into it.

Vancouver winters would be similar to Dunedin. Wet and cool - 0 to 12 deg from Dec to Feb/March. I'm married to the Irish which is her incentive for Algarve. All my family still in AKL but mate in Mangawhai and would prefer the so called winterless north. Although as GS said, this winter has been bloody wet. Still 17/18 deg up there all the time. Summers here are a bit short too. Don't get me wrong, loved bringing kids up here but youngest now in last year at Uni and oldest has a 1 way ticket to NZ in 2 months, so world is ours to move to (but we're not loaded so prefer cheaper cost of living).

I am NOT OK with them keeping Fozzie. Not at all. But on the Razor front, the current term in his mind was end of RWC 2023. So, he was always going to either hang around for that, or not hang round for that. Nothing has changed except he may have got his hopes up in last few weeks. I hope he stays, but if he doesn't, he wasn't going to anyway. I think that makes sense.

I may be being too harsh on the place. As I said, great for bringing kids up, who learnt to ski on Whistler/Blackcomb and are now really good skiers. Lots of outdoor stuff, even running into friendly 300kg bears. As I said, looking for a bit more 'winterless' now so North suits better for me, not that BoP or Hawkes Bay get too cold.

I'm just hoping that is what Razor thought all along, that 2023 would be his time. Lack of good AB results between now, and including RWC, would/should certainly help keep him home. As someone said above, not a lot of opportunities between now and then anywhere else anyway. Japan being possibly a good one to wet his feet in the international waters and get some good coin while at it.
