Atonio translating for Jelonch during the man of the match interview and dutifully translated 'fucking amazing' before realising what he'd done
In the last year and a week, France have beaten everyone. England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, Argentina, South Africa, Japan and Georgia.

And are there two g’s in Bugger Off?
Congrats France. Pulled it out of the fire.
This one hurts. What a rollercoaster. Didn’t think we had a chance after the red, then we came back and it looked like we had done enough, and then we let it slip in the last 10 mins. Gutted.
It was a funny old match. Both reds were unlucky, but 100% justified. The yellow for Fourie was also fair, no need for a warning. Some weird inconsistent calls here and there, but a nice flowing match nonetheless. Entertaining match for sure.

I'm still not clear why De Allende escaped censure when he, coming in from a higher angle than Du Toit, also managed to smash Danty in the face.fishfoodie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 9:51 pmRassie wrote:We should have had two players sent off for that tackle, but instead Barnes bottled the decision, & just sent one off !!!!!!!

Congrats to France.
Altho the Boks lost the last two weeks, they show improvement from last weekend and in good shape for the WC.
At least we show more running rugby from our lot.
Kolisi my Bok MOTM,
Is this communication loss to TMO going to happen in the WC.
That was kak.

Because refs have always been reluctant to issue two reds to the same team at the same time. Doesn't make it right obviously.sockwithaticket wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 9:57 pmI'm still not clear why De Allende escaped censure when he, coming in from a higher angle than Du Toit, also managed to smash Danty in the face.fishfoodie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 9:51 pmRassie wrote:We should have had two players sent off for that tackle, but instead Barnes bottled the decision, & just sent one off !!!!!!!
Well done France.
Looked decent for the 10 minutes we had all our players on. Du Toit out removed a lineout option and led to some lost lineouts, poor of France to not put a 14 man team away at home and actually go behind from being 13-0 up. Game was dead after Fourie was carded on 70 minutes, can't win with 6 forwards but French pressure earned that advantage. I had awful commentators (English?) who were surprised 8 forwards beats 6 forwards + De Allende in a scrum.
Another close loss, again the feeling on a different day it could've been a lot different.

He clearly releases and your scrum half stands and watches the 11 take it.

All eyes on the Brave Blossoms next week. No pressure.
Presumably Dupont will be suspended, and I rate the Japanese coaching team to have something special up their sleeves - they certainly gave us a hurry up in Tokyo!

You sent them a second team. They were shit against England earlier, I'd expect them to be a bit better next week, but France should beat them handily. Between world cups they're not a threat.Gumboot wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 10:09 pmAll eyes on the Brave Blossoms next week. No pressure.

Did anyone pick up why Barnes was so annoyed with the on-field cameraman during one of the stoppages in play? Basically told him to piss off, and then told some unseen official to relay the message he was never to do that again. Whatever 'that' was...
Only thing we have improved on is our losing spell. More running rugby. You mean " some running rugby ".OomStruisbaai wrote: ↑Sat Nov 12, 2022 9:58 pm Congrats to France.

I watched the replay of the last French try. His knees never touched the ground so legitimate try. Fair call. If it had gone against us in that position I would have been pissed.
Yeah......
We really have been conditioned to blame the ref . It's becoming our way of life
Score board has the final say and we really need to be concerned that we are not winning when it counts and our selections as well as our non selections. We are in a deep hole. Last week we were wondering why PSDT was even there. Although he was pushed from behind his movement was already in that direction so no excuse there.
Our lack of blooding players in critical positions is going to lose us the RWC. Our continuance of playing players out of position was always going to bite us in the arse. I don't know how many games we have left till RWC but I feel it's not enough.
Our backline play is still a huge huge concern. Watch Italians. They know how to use numbers 9 to 15
The biggest improvement was our front row. French couldn't move our boys

The crowd was booing and febrile, cameraman was trying to make it as though something dramatic was being done, whilst Barnes was annoyed it was just a bloody technical issue.
In between that and the cameraman being in the way of Le Roux catching a goal kick it's pretty sloppy stuff from the camera crew and hope they get a rollicking. Not Hollywood.

You posted a bunch of kak like usual. You are the ref basher around here. I have avproblem with the vokken system no communication between tmo and ref. There is a WC next year with the same bunch of idiots.Sards wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 3:48 amOnly thing we have improved on is our losing spell. More running rugby. A few told you sos amidst this.
1) Have said repeatedly over the years that Marseille is the best atmosphere ground in France. Partly because unlike Paris, it's near the heartlands. And what a noise. More games here.
2) In a game of utter brutality where the Boks held most of the cards for most of the game, despite du Toit's f**king madness (which has resulted in a fracture to Danty's eye)..... I said last week France cannot play 2 lightweight locks together (Woki and Flament), and so it proved. France were absolutely killed in the mauls and struggled in the scrums until Tao came on. Woki continues his poor form. Lost most of the breakdown battle too. Ironically it was Fra's subs who turned the tide and not the Bomb Squad.
3) Macalouuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. How f**king long have I said he cannot be ignored and not least for his freakish athleticism? How TF Jelonch** got MOTM, only a Fre broadcaster could say. A flanker dumped on the wing whilst filling in the backrow at scrums, he was everywhere. 1st man to challenge the Boks at every restart (that's how fast he is), putting in key tackles (he was up against the fastest Bok) and may have created a breakaway try if Barnes hadn't made a terrible call when he was not held. No more of this stubborn stupidity please Galthie. He'd walk into any other side in the world.
**MOTM to a man who missed a tackle for a try and was sat on his arse by the smallest player on the park and gave away 2 pens?
4) Just f**k off Ntamack. The guy next to me almost had a conniption at yet another sh*thouse display of aimless kicking and starving the backs of ball. Jalibert created more in the 1st minute he was on than Ntamack did his entire game. Total sh*te when Fra had the man advantage.
Tactically I thought Galthie was poor. Generally, a game plan of trying to beat the Boks up seems a pretty dim idea and it won't work next time if they don't go full retard for a red card. How many times did the Boks try that kick pass to get around Penaud and Fra never adapted? Luckily they got it wrong most of the time (knock ons etc) but it led to Dupont's sending off. I'm not blaming Penaud so much as the defensive shape: Boks were down a man FFS so should never have been able to create an overlap.
The major plus from this was Fra sides of old would have folded up and died. This lot seem to have found the knack of winning even when playing poorly.

Actually, I was saying to the safa in front of me that Barnes was good on everything bar Macalou not being held. It's the safas who went full on anti-Barnes:
https://www.rugbyrama.fr/rugby/test-mat ... tory.shtml
Didn't go back and look. Looked close on 1st watch. Was a call from the touch judge rather than Barnes to be fair to the ref.
Only double checked the release as I was sure be did.
Yeah, the pass was called by the touch judge, see a lot worse not given regularly.Big D wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 9:27 amDidn't go back and look. Looked close on 1st watch. Did one forward pass call lose the saffers the game then?

No, but it certainly was at a crucial stage mind. Whingers of vokken note....
Embarrassing
All we get from Rassnabber are cryptic videos bashing the ref and then the whole vokken nation starts on a ref whinge.
Rassie has you brainwashed.
Rassnabber need to sort their shit out.
Selections, game plan, coaching staff and strategies need a wholesale change. That is more to blame than any ref
