Just a heads up, bvut the front page says theis game starts at 7:10, whereas the Sky countdown suggests it's going to start at 7:05.

Yep, I'm with this, Hurricanes fans are typically the most deluded on either board.
The amount of validation Cantabrians need from us northerners is quite humorous, all those titles yet nobody wants to be like you. Sad really.
And yet Canterbury/Crusader coaches are everywhere. Even my avatar was given a go at the Hurricanes in the hope of creating some of the Crusaders magic.

It’s easy to say no one wants to be like the Crusaders/Canterbury but actions speak louder than words.
It's purely the fact, that us in the civilized North island have alot more things to be happy about than a Rugby title, the only people that seem to think it's important in life are you and your brethren. It's quite pathetic that your only relevance in New Zealand is a Rugby team comprised of North island players.

If there are tests this year, what rule interpretations will we be playing?

Carter's Choice wrote: Sat Sep 05, 2020 1:40 am 'Born and bred' that's a heck of a criteria. And a really shit criteria as well. Presumably some players wouldn't be able to qualify for either team based on the 'born and bred' rule that some North Island posters are demanding?
I think it’s quaint. For a contrived game there is a strange amount of concern coming from the North.
It's almost as if they're worried about losing this match, despite boasting 4 times the population and player base.
It is rather odd, but is a variation on a theme that has been around for a long time. I'm old enough to remember when almost every player in NZ who wasn't playing for Auckland seemed to be a former Aucklander according to the commentators. Many, if not most only had a very tenuous link.

Nice try Ioane but once again he objects to being tackled - that will get him into trouble one day

So all blacks attack will continue with chip kicks, grabbers and bombs in attacking positions as their attacking weapon... cool

I couldn't disagree more strongly. A fake crowd sound is way better than zero sound.

He's the biggest dickhead in NZ rugby. He starts a fight every time he gets tackled.

BB runs it from his own goal line and Reiko Ioane passes the ball behind Reece and over the sideline.

It would help if he actually looked at the player he was passing to

Is this referee on the take? That's the worst decision for a no try that I've seen this season.

Except that wasn't what the referee said or ruled. He said it was a new maul, which it quite clearly wasn't.
