Watched the first half of Toulouse Bordeaux. It was scrappy but Dupont made the difference again. I found Marchand rusty, especially at lineout time.
Pretty much was the Dupont show. He really does mask so many other players' limitations, including Ntamack.TheFrog wrote: Mon May 08, 2023 11:21 am Great spirit by the bottom two sides in their struggle for survival.![]()

Dupont made such a difference last night, maybe his best T14 game this seasonTorquemada 1420 wrote: Mon May 08, 2023 11:23 amPretty much was the Dupont show. Moefana was awful and should not be anywhere near the Fre selection now.
Afraid so. Another talented player who seems to be made of glass. However, it's not something to celebrate because FH is now Fra's weakest position.

Now you are dreaming if you think an untested Hastoy or a proven failed at intl level Lopez can do a RWC job at such short notice. Dupont is a better FH than Ramos.TheFrog wrote: Tue May 09, 2023 2:25 pmSometimes, you are like Bimbo. Obsessed with one vision of the world.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Mon May 08, 2023 4:54 pmAfraid so. Leaving your pet boy Ntamack aside... have you seen how well Hastoy is doing lately? Hell, we could even call back Lopez! Ramos is a very good fly-half too.
Hastoy was near perfect. I have said before, one thing I like about him is he always plays with a smile. A player who does that is never going to fold due to pressure. He might make errors but you know it won't affect him.TheFrog wrote: Sun May 21, 2023 3:15 am What do you make of Hastoy, Torque? Still worried he hasn't been bloodied at international level?
Serin, for Toulon, was in fine form but he seems to have suffered a serious injury.
We should wait to see if there is substance to this: especially given my dislike of this player and his past.TheFrog wrote: Sat May 27, 2023 12:07 pm Clermont made a super signing....![]()
And I am not sure this boy is going to the world cup.

He has been jailed awaiting judgment. Not looking good for him. This boy can't keep his nerve. He has shown this on the pitch and in civil life. Sad.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun May 28, 2023 2:25 pmWe should wait to see if there is substance to this: especially given my dislike of this player and his past.TheFrog wrote: Sat May 27, 2023 12:07 pm Clermont made a super signing....![]()

The bloke is really adding them up. Burnt his future with French team and then this.TheFrog wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 2:06 am So Haouas guilty and most likely without a contract as Clermont announced he would not wear their jersey... What a waste...
He may be given a last chance. The judge may decide he doesn't go to jail, and does community hours instead.laurent wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 5:49 amThe bloke is really adding them up. I am fairly sure a D2 club will pick him up though.

Could he play with the bracelet? Could be dangerous.laurent wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 2:21 pm1 year is usually an ankle bracelet.TheFrog wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 2:14 pmHe may be given a last chance. We had a player in our team with one, he had to negotiate with the judge for some away fixtures. as you need to be "home" at specific time.
We also have Gendarmes in the team![]()
He played fine not really an issue as far as I know.TheFrog wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 8:51 pmCould he play with the bracelet? Could be dangerous.laurent wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 2:21 pm1 year is usually an ankle bracelet.TheFrog wrote: Wed May 31, 2023 2:14 pm

In any case, he is going to take a big cut in salary at best.
Yes looks like it (not definitive but not a good sign for them)sturginho wrote: Wed Jun 07, 2023 9:28 am Seems like Grenoble are also having financial troubles?

Maybe, but miles out and no real danger. Don’t think we should be throwing out yellow cards for instinctive things like that miles out. But…. Maybe

1) this is just amazing, the French do club rugby like no one else
2) can you think of a better job than a British commentator on the Top 14
