Good plan, to be fair.

Oh yeah, I agree, and Johnnie constantly trying to bring him back, but still, what a job.
Awful end to the half for Racing

Soz, I missed your meaning as I was concentrating on the game, yeah, it is a dream job, really.
During the normal season it often sounds like he's doing the coms watching the telly from a room in Swindon or something, you don't get the crowd noise in the mic at all.

THIS is the typical display we've seen from him in his tenure at Racing interspersed with the very occasional match winning performance. So, bye Finn and good luck with the flaky sh*te at flaky Bath.
Meantime, Ntamack showing he can outdo Finn as he attempts to butcher a clear chance which is rescued by his teammates.

However, Marcus Smith is going to get absolutely demolished in this league

You can "whatever" all you like but it won't magically erase the tapes. Even this sycophantic commentator has picked on it tonight.Slick wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 8:24 pmWhatever.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 8:19 pmTHIS is the typical display we've seen from him in his tenure at Racing interspersed with the very occasional match winning performance. Racing would be mental to bother with Smith.
I watch almost all his games (modern tech is AMAZING) and that’s simply not true. I agree he has been poor tonight, but you are weirdTorquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 8:28 pmYou can "whatever" all you like but it won't magically erase the tapes. Don't bother yourself, the guy is nuts on Russell and Ntmack, no matter what happens on the park.

I think they played as well as they needed to. Had to give up my ticket for the final next week which is a pity because will be interesting to see what they think the can come up with against LaR's power because it didn't work against Leinster.
Johny Beatie is a top chap. I follow his podcast (The French Rugby), and it's always a pleasure to listen to him. Intelligent bloke, humble and human.Slick wrote: ↑Fri Jun 09, 2023 7:51 pmOh yeah, I agree, and Johnnie constantly trying to bring him back, but still, what a job.

I have just been through the replay of the first semi final.
Some worrying signs for Toulouse despite the final margin. Their scrum, although dominant, has shown a few signs of weakness against arguably the weakest scrum of the Top 14. Their lineout has been misfiring. A lot of loose ball as well and even Dupont made some uncharacteristic mistakes. Thankfully for them, Racing were worse ball in hand and gave away silly penalties at key moments.
But against La Rochelle, Toulouse need to go up 2 notches if they want to win.

Ironically, I just realised I've done the same with this game. Assumed it was a late KO.

Good for her. Hope she is fit again for the beginning of next season.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 7:16 pmNot so clever in the women's:

You were spared Jalibert being mediocre.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 7:11 pmIronically, I just realised I've done the same with this game. Assumed it was a late KO.

I fear his career is following the path of the likes of Baby, Jeanjean, Beauxis etc i.e. blighted by injuries.TheFrog wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 8:58 pmYou were spared Jalibert being mediocre.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 10, 2023 7:11 pmIronically, I just realised I've done the same with this game. Trouble is Ntamack was very poor for Toulouse too. Your man Hastoy is the from player.
