No wonder at all, TV off for me nowsturginho wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 7:21 pmWe've had such genius comments from the likes of Bortolami and Mirco Bergamasco saying that we shouldn't even bother and put all our efforts into beating France instead. With such confidence is it any wonder we always fall to pieces?TheNatalShark wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 7:18 pm Snekky try there, almost hilarious how Italy just falls apart Vs NZ. Like Wales Vs Aus last decade and Scotland Vs SA

Have Italy played a competitive game at a world cup against a tier 1 game since Scotland ‘07?

Highlight of this game has been the legends in the crowd, and my fav AB Conrad Smith

In a year where England, Australia, Wales and Argentina have played the way they have, it was going to take something special to be crowned ‘the most humiliating half of rugby from a tier 1 nation’, and fair play the Italians have smashed it out the park here

With tongue so far in cheek it hurts....clearly with all the Italian pressure they should be getting penalties.

No no, almost all of it is down to the superiority of New Zealand, but Carley is letting NZ pick up in the ruck and telling Italy to let it go. Twice now NZ have taken players out way beyond the ruck without sanction - it would make no difference, but Carley is making mistakes too.
There is, but they are never shite. Italy tackling is appalling but NZ are looking very sharp.
I really, really hope Italy turn it around a bit

Is what you spent the first half shouting at the cardboard cut out replicas of rugby players missing 22 tackles in one half, I assume?
Make no mistake, this is one of the all time worst performances by a supposedly half decent team in a world cup. Just world class bed shitting and couldn't-give-a-fuck-ism. And as an England fan I've seen a few.
I don't feel sorry for them, clearly they needed taking down a peg or two (or 10)
I agree, even his language to the players isn’t particularly even handedTichtheid wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2023 7:53 pmNo no, almost all of it is down to the superiority of New Zealand, but Carley is letting NZ pick up in the ruck and telling Italy to let it go. Ticht is right - one of the NZ pens came just after Varney had been manhandled miles off the ball
