Can't tell you how annoyed I am that RWC are selling a load of extra tickets while lots of us need to get rid of ours because work doesn't allow for the travel time!
You want people to pay for that shit!!!!
I already have.

Waiting for the eurostar now for my sins.

Don't think I've ever been less excited about a rugby trip.

Also didn't help that when we contacted our Airbnb host yesterday to arrange access, we found out that they'd recently sold the apartment ffs.
Waiting for my flight, night in a shitty hostel in Nice then early train to Marseille tomorrow. All worth it to see my favourite team, Argentina

What the fuck is this? Bayfield is on the pitch interviewing Ibitoye as he walks back to the halfway line having scored a try.

Why are coverage innovations always so stupid?

I suspect it's some moron at TNT trying to put their stamp on things.

Throw in DJs and spidercams and the game is becoming tiresome to try and watch.

There looks comfortably more watching a mid table clash in Pro2 (Brive v Grenoble) that this Prem opener.

I was just about to post before the bounce of the ball gifted a try to Tigers, the low tackling from Bristol is working really well - no need to smack the opposition in the face at all.

Guy Porter watch:

One pass into touch
One pedestrian crabbing run that blows an overlap
One ball dropped under no pressure

Absolute dogshit still

And that miss pass that caused the really quite tall Bassett to jump for it thereby killing whatever momentum remained in a faltering attack.

Was watching Kelly instead for something that screamed should have been in France. Nothing except a lucky bounce

Will be interesting to see how the teams with international players away on RWC duty get on.
TV broadcast for those interested has transferred to from BT Sport to TNT sport which is on Discovery+
TNT Sports is BT Sport, it's a rebrand.
Well it's moved to Discovery+ and I couldn't log in even though I'm signed up

I still think that either Dan Kelly or Seb Atkinson at Gloucester are the future for England at 12, but there was nothing in that performance to back up that opinion.

Kelly threw a nice long pass to the wing, but yes, I was having the same thoughts. Very suspicious of players being anointed as the coming man without yet having seen anything to suggest he's that good (George Martin is another one for me).

Seb Atkinson I've already seen put in some cracking performances, think he's going to have a huge season.

Never seen Saracens this bad, 7 tries down at half time, cant tackle, struggling set piece. In the words of Borthwick, they cannot take a single positive from that half, they literally did nothing.

Alex Goode looking like he should've retired.

Jackson Wray shouldn't be given a second chance on comms, absolutely dreadful.

Exeter looking like their old self despite a host of new names.

Hodge has to be in the reckoning for 15 for England...but then again, he is rapid, can pass, can tackle, can attack...so maybe not.

The thing with Kelly was that he was obviously a better centre than Porter. Kelly was injured for a lot of last season and needs to stay fit to build some form.

Rugby players of South Africa by lots. England's only chance is if you are kicked out for not signing up to WADA.

Would be genuinely hilarious if we made it through, but boy are we second best on paper. Especially in the front row.

To win something absurd will need to happen or we'll have to drag them into a really messy game.

As an aside, I'd appreciate it if Borthwick would give Arundell a run, given that none of his test match animal veteran wings have managed a try in the tournament so far.

The only chance we have is if at least 10 of their best forwards break limbs in a freak rollercoaster accident on their day off tomorrow.

Being brutally honest, I don't think that would be enough to be honest. That's a pack and a pair extra. They'd still have a good enough pack to push us hard and backs to beat us.

Arundell had a set too with Lord Farrell in training, that’s his race run…..
