Yes no momentum at all now, crowd understandably quiet. This half will take over an hour

Big score that for Quins, important to close the gap before half time arrives.

That last Toulouse try

Fuck they know how to play good rugby when a lot of other teams play dire box-kick ball.

Cruel end for Quins, but Toulouse are just irresistible at times.

Cheetahs worth watching just for Ruan chiskop, ended the match at flyhalf.
The Cheetahs should replace the Sharks in the URC.

7 down at home against a largely second string Leicester sorta answers your question.

Not a vintage game by any means, but that was a compelling finish and a valuable away win for the Tigs.

Astonishing considering the team tigers put out. The gap between seconds and Firsts is not so big considering the stormers performance at tigers last week and tigers performance here.

and that was a Stormers B team. The B team play much more as a unit compare to the A team who struggled against La Rochelle. The Bulls have the same depth as the Stormers at the moment, so we are in for a massive match coming on saturday when this two meet in Cape Town. Its our biggest Saffer rivalry, north vs south.

Just catching up with Quins v Toulouse. There was a tackle in the Edinburgh v Castres game that was similar to the Aki one and it resulted in a red. The referee went through the exact same process and protocols but ended up with a different result.

It shows the we are still some way off a satisfactory solution to the high tackle problem.

For the record I thought both tackles should have been red, the Aki tackle was worse that that of Andrea Cocagi from Castres.

Also for the record, referee Adam Jones was very good in that Edinburgh Castres game.

Yeah. I thought the difference in the sanctions given for those two was curious too. Given the rescinded reds in the competition so far, I wondered if there’d been a shift in how refs have been told to deal with head contacts, tbh.

Money buys you players, but not a team.
Eben and Am's salaries combined are probably more than what the VRYSTAAT match day 23 earn.

“Some coaches, and I have been reading between the lines, are doing it at different times. I could quite easily have kept Canan Moodie and say Kurt-Lee Arendse for these two games and then given them their time off.

“I’ve just decided, en masse, I would rather do it all together and bring them back. It doesn’t downplay one or the other,” White said.
