Great conversion. Hopefully Saints get the next score to keep the final quarter lively.

This. I've been banging on on some Fre groups that it was overdue time to pension off the likes of Fickou and Danty and bring in players like Costes and Gailleton.
Meantime, this game is much closer on the board than it's ever felt.

Assuming it is Toulouse, Leinster might be given a run for their money.

Really should have made that break count Saints. Game over now.

Leinster weren't too far off rueing their wasteful first half.

Yeah, the three weeks off might have been good on the one hand, but they looked match rusty.Uncle fester wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 6:33 pm Leinster weren't too far off rueing their wasteful first half.
The did nullify a very good Saints side in the 1st half though, & that was the difference.

Saints made lots of unforced errors and mistakes in the first half and got better as the match went on.
I thought Leinster were going to be out of sight by half time

Way too easy. Quins need to defend a lot better than this or all their attacking brilliance can't save them.

Toulouse just overwhelming Quins at the moment. They can't plug the gaps quickly enough.

Pretty dumb by Toulouse. Get the ball off the park to set piece rather than allowing Quins the only way they could get back = broken play.

Murley did so, so well there while isolated to not only hold defenders and give time for support to arrive, but also continue making ground and present readily available ball.

Whatever else you say about Quins, you won't lack for entertainment when watching a match involving them.

Great to watch.
From Toulouse's end, not sure why Mola thinks the tactics from the round play shouldn't be applied again here. It's almost a repeat of yesterday where Leinster went to sleep against a team whose strength is broken play.

Now they need to get the next score too; because apart from DuPont, I do wonder if this Toulouse side has the stones it needs
