Bad luck Bulls. If you don't know by now, Boeta can't kick pressure opportunities. It's every time. Should rather have Boeta at 10 and a decent kicker at 15.

It was sad to knock you guys out. The Bulls and Sharks have really invested in our overseas based players and brought then back home. So we are kindred spirits trying to build a formidable force going forward. It waa Karma that the match ended in a draw.

Lions definitely favorites. Although we have beaten them already. And that's 2 in a row against the Bulls too. I reckon they should just rest with light cardio till Wednesday.

Bar the drama of the red/yellow cards, I thought was a very slow stop/start type of game. Every scrum and/or lineout there was some stoppage in play. Was screaming at the ref to get the game going, lot's of time wasting. Don't know how the Bulls lost that game against 12 men at one stage, but kudos must go to the Sharks for pulling it through. That is some character shown by the boys. Good luck in the final Sharkies.

Our forwards were probably bolstered by Pepsi and the twins from the URC squad. And the twins needed game time in the dynamite , black and white.
Our backline was bolstered by Masuka , Ethan and AE. Otherwise they have pretty much stuck with JPs squad. Lots of youngsters. So that was fantastic experience for them playing against a URC team from the Bulls.

Obviously Plum has been focused on the URF squad. His remarks were about losing players to the CC squad. When he needed to work with them.

As I said I don't think Plum expected a win. It's not his primary focus. JP has done a damn fine job.
Look. Andre and the twins needed a hit out in the black and white. Trevor too. I imagine they are really looking forward to playing games for the franchise. In any form. Plum was probably there to see how they performed and how they were going to fit into our URC squad.
All I can say is that the depth that has been built up is ridiculous. Our juniors are starting to shine and are knocking on the URC door.....which is obviously an entry into the the boks.
Nah. I am super stoked that the Sharks are heading in the right direction and that we are building for the future. Our players that couldn't knock the URC door down are littered amongst the other unions and doing well.

Until Jake changes his defensive coaching setup, these kind of loses will continue to rack up in important games. Does not matter if you set records for tries scored in a season but keep conceding the same amount of tries as well. So as much as I would give Jake praise for the good that happened to the Bulls since he came along, he is to blame for the crap defensive system as well while he keeps his buddies there. Just about everyone can see that the Bulls have a massive defensive problem.
