That's not how it works. He has a case presented to him and he makes a judgement as he MUST do. The parties can appeal it up the line if they want.

I think he fucked it in going totally on that route when the history of our elections should have told him that people were already tired of him and he could have pulled in even more people by positively going "I'm going to be middle of the road and here are some things we'll do to ease the cost of living because the pandemic screwed a lot of things for a lot of you."
